I hope you have bricked up your phone. Just use ODIN, download stock rom zip packages, put phone in download mode, plus USB, load rom files in ODIN, flash the update and then it will work. (Actually it worked for me).
i havent encountered that specific problem, nor have i seen an option for recovery mode. My best suggestion is to go to the source and download again.
http://www.sansa.com/support/sansa_e200/faqs look to the right hand side for download options.
For me the solution was this:
After entering the recovery mode (turn off the player, move the hold
button to the right, and press the on and rec button, then connecting to
the computer).
when the 16 mb folder opens create a NEW FOLDER (not a text
document) called "Sansa.fmt". then disconec the usb and it was fixed.
hello my Z has a white screen when i turn it on and it stays like that i can still hear my jams but cant see nothing or where iam going. what cant i do to fax it?
If it still plugs in and works properly, you can try to format it or try to update its firmware with the firmware updater that you can download from sandisk.com and then click on download.
