I'm using that Alpine right now for 2-12" subs and I have compared it to 6 or 7 other amps this month and most were 4 channel 150Watt/Channel Bridged to 300Watts x 2 and found the Alpine to be superior in both sound quality and loudness. The Alpine has also not turned off even with full volume for hours at a time, Very solid amp I was very surprised due to it's size!

Is there a option on the chanels that say ''Bridged''? If so, you can hook the subs up in parellel or series to get different ohm loads. Usually the lower ohms, the more power amp puts out. Those subs can handle 225 watts RMS whitch means the power it can handle constantly. If the amp gives more than 225 watts RMs, you could be at risk of blowing the sub. If you could give me the model # of the amp, I can be of more help.

I believe these are 4ohms, if so buy a 2ohm stable monoblock amp, that puts out 250-300 watts RMS, and connect your subs to it in parallel, don't pay attention to peak watts, look at RMS watts, or continuous watts. If they're 2 ohms, buy a 2 ohm stable 2 channel amp that puts out 125-150 watts RMS per channel, and 250-300 watts total or bridged RMS output. Although amps with 5 channels are pretty rare, you can get one. Alpine, Boston Acoustics, Infinity, JL audio, MTX, and Polk all have 5-channels ranging in price from around $350 up to around $1,000. The Alpine PDX-5 will output 75X4 watts RMS for the front and rear stereo channels and 300 watts to the mono sub channel. It is priced at $599.99 at Crutchfield.

The recommended power range for you T4510-04 is 112.5 to 225 watts RMS. So you need a monoblock amp within that range. You could go up to about 300 watts RMS, but watch the gain and don't try to get too much from a single 10" sub.

The Orion Cobalt shown here would be a good match and is only $139.99. For another $60, the Alpine MRP-M500 will output 300 watts into 4 ohms.

The 2 ohm stable rating on the amp is PER channel meaning that you could effectively hook up a 2 ohm speaker or a 2 ohm load to each channel without the amp getting f"d up-butin bridged mode it will only be 4 ohm stable. to achieve a 4 ohm load with your sub the type x wire the coils in series that will get you at 4 ohms to run in bridged mono .But you will get the exact same amount of power if you wire each coil to one channel of the amp as bridged mono sees the sum of your 2 ohm channels combined-Hope that helps.

yes you could go with a 2 channel. You could alwayse bridge it.

the problem when someone become a car audio fanatic is, we want to hear BOOMS but we are not sure how many watts the amplifier can handle, besides that theres one very important thing that most of the installers don't know. its called ohms law (not a joke) that law tells you everything about how to measure the ohms marked on the speaker labels and also the way that you connect the speakers (theres two models; serial circuit and parallel circuit)

every single movement that you make on the connections tells a different story, and if you over load the amp it will auto protect.

i suggest you to set the level at least at 60% so you don't make any damage to the internal components, and don't forget to study ohm's law because a really professional installer knows it and well, they do the matt to get the best performance.
