Web site backfill.ph.affinity.com keeps coming up every time I open my aol e mail account. How do I stop this

I found the real answer to this problem on another site. In Windows 7, go into Control Panel, Internet Options, Security, Restricted Sites, Sites. Add backfill.ph.affinity.com as a restricted site.

This really works, once and for all, and makes the problem go away immediately.

How do I install a dry well in my in ground pool

To install a drywell(or sump pit) you will need to dig a hole beside the pool(usually les than 3' from the pool wall or in the same backfill material as close to the the overdig for the pool as possible. The goal here is to get down the the bottom of the pool wall in the backfill material so you can access the ground water that is accumulating around the pool to pump it out. Dig a large enough hole that you can install either clay tile, "Big O", 8" plastic pipe or something that will allow you to lower a submersible pump down and pump the ground water out. Keep in mind that it will be perminently in the ground and needs to hold back the surrounding soil or backfill. It's a good idea to drill several holes around the pipe as well as up a few feet from the bottom to allow for the water to pass into the pipe. Lower the pipe into the hole you've dug, fill the outside with clear gravel to the just below the top of the pipe then lay some filter cloth on this stone. Top it off sixth some soil and cover the pipe opening with your choice of either a decorative patio stone or flagstone. It's a good idea to peek inside the pit weekly to pump out any water. Especially in the spring and fall when the pool has been shut down for the year if your in a climate that this is necessary

I want to install an RO unit. For the RO faucet connection I would like to use the air gap connection on the sink that connects to my GLD5960 SS dishwasher. Can I get rid of the air gap connection from...

Hello,
The airgap prevents the water from the sink backflowing into the dishwasher. You could espically if your dishwasher hasa corragated plastic drain hose attach it under the sink so at one point the hose is higher that the nozzle of the disposer it connects to so the hose is still higher that the level of the nozzle and water wont backfill into the dishwasher.

My questions relate to GE Triton DW Model GSD 6660 G00SS My problems are multiple. I have run the diagnostics and all functions seem to be working but two conditions during operation remain a...

Hello,
After you the drain to discharge the remain water and the tub is visibly dry of water, then you open and load it do you see standing water after you have drained and know it was gone??
If that is the case what i believe your trouble is that where the dishwasher drain connects to disposer under the sink the drain hose is only leading from that nozzle downward,if that is so what is happening is the dishwasher is draining ok but backfilling whenever water runs through the sink. To fix that use a string on plastic zip tie and attach a portio of the drain hose so at one point the drain hose under the sink is higher that the nozzle and water in the sink will longer run into the hose and run upward since water is only going to drain down and wont ever rise on its own.The drain pump is powerful enough to push the drain water up that "HIGHLOOP" very easily.

Good luck i hope this has helped you to fix your dishwasher,

Doesn't drain on final rinse cycal, leaves 1" of clean water in bottom of machine.

Make sure your drain hose is attached securely to the underside of counter/sink area. If you have a air/gap, make sure it isn't clogged. Both will cause water to backfill back into the dishwasher especially if you're garbage disposal is clogged or restricted.

Non return valve

Has it always done this? If so it was an install issue. The tech should have put the drain above the drain with a loop to prevent backfill.

Asko diswasher

Remove the backpanel of the machine, and look if there is water at the bottom of the machine. If so, use a towel or so to dry up the water. This should solve the prob.
