Sounds like you have a coolant leak. Best action is to get an experienced mechanic to find what's leaking. No mater what you do be sure to keep the coolant full or engine damage will occur.
hi there are two more drains under the wiper arms u have to remove the wiper arms and the plastic grill that covers u r wiper motor the drains are at each end near driver fender and pass fender the water runs under the car between the door and fender where the meet if they overfill it will come back into the inside of the vehicule often blocked by leaves put a garden hose in there when its opened up and u will see where its coming in also look under the dash near u r gas and brake pedal in case its coming from a broken rubber grommet ex hood cable u should find it danny
There are a few things you will need to check as the leak could be from windsheild or floor. the first thing is to vacuum floor next is to use a water hose and spray all over windsheild while someone is looking with light inside under the dash to see if water is coming inside, if so then window resealing is needed and window has to be removed. next is to look at floor board from under the car for rust hole, this is the way to go. let me knomw the out come. good day
There will be a vacuum line running from the intake manifold, hard plastic, about the diameter of a 14 gauge wire. Look for breaks,if you see none try have someone blow cigarette smoke in the engine end of the line and look under the dash for the smoke, line could be unhooked or broken.
hi yes your 100% right the heater core/matrix is leaking, the water is dripping down from it which is making the floor wet, and the reason you are getting "steam" on your screen is the hot water that is between the fins on the matrix is cooling causing condensation...so yes you are right..hope this helped
If you have a wet seat then it is likely defective weather stripping around the window.
Try this. If the floor is dry, then it rains and the floor remains dry, only gets wet after a drive in the rain or on wet streets, you may have a hole somewhere.
Check for holes from missing rubber grommets or holes in the floorboard or firewall from rust. Check for any rust holes or missing rubber grommets under the car or on the firewall, anywhere water can splash up into the vehicle from driving in rain or running through puddles..
Check wet spots along the carpeting all the way up under the dash, if the wet spot is higher than the floor itself, you could be getting the water from splashing through puddles.
Any holes under the car or in the fenderwell even up on the firewall can cause this problem.
First check for any obvious signs of rust, if none are found then look for missing or defective rubber grommets.
First, check the drivers door to body wiring where it passes between the doors. I'd take the panel off and start from the inside and work your way through the part that travels inside the rubber cover to the car. These are notorious for rotting wires in that area, which will cause a large problem.
If the harness is ok, replace the drivers door power window switch assembly. If the drivers door switches are bad then none of the others will work either. I see this very frequently as well from people who use too much Armour All cleaner, or drive with their window down in the rain and get it wet(smokers usually).
