Question about Televison & Video
When I turn my VCR on "RF-03" comes up on the screen and it won't work and no matter what button I push nothing happens. What's the problem?
That might be the TV output channel. I found these instructions in a Sanyo manual:
How to set the DVD+VCR's RF output channel 1. Set the TV to the VCR channel (3 or 4) depending upon the selected channel. 2. When the DVD+VCR is turned off, press and hold CHANNEL (V/v) on the front panel for more than five seconds. It will turn itself on and "RF03" or "RF04" appears in the dis-play window. 3. Press CHANNEL (V/v) on the front panel or CH/TRK(v/V) on the remote control to change the RF output channel (CH 03 or CH 04). 4. Turn off the DVD+VCR.
It might solve the problem!

SOURCE: Can't see menu to programme VCR
Try unpluging the unit from the wall for about 5 minutes then plug back in and turn it on,this will reset the brain and go back to normal.

You will not know from looking at the VCR if it is in VCR mode or TV
mode. This is more likely a TV issue of whether the TV is
monitoring the VCR or not. Make sure you have the TV selected so
that it is monitoring the VCR.
That VCR/TV button has caused more confusion for the average person than anything else.
Hope Ya Fix It!

Connect RF out of VCR to Antenna IN of TV. There should be a Test Signal switch at rear of VCR. Push it to ON. JVC VCRs generally generate a RF signal in the UHF band, around channel 36. Scan all channels on your TV, you should gete a Test signal of 2 parrallel black bars around channel 36. That is the Channel on which you can view tapes. Switch off 'Test signal' at rear of VCR, and press play. you should be able to watch your tape.

I founnd my answer again:
Try pressing down the vcr or Aux button for a long time. Then try pressing down power button on remote for a long time. Try info or display button for long time. After I fiddled around with these for a long time it worked.

Turn the VCR on and remove any tape. Press the record button and the VHS/TV button simultaneously. You should see a message saying the VCR is unlocked. It worked for me.
