I have plugged in my Orion TV. It brings up a dark blue screen, no picture and will not respond to the remote that came with it or the buttons on the tv itself. I've tried all that was recommended in the troubleshooting section of the guide it came with. Any suggestions?

We have the 46 inch also and the volume is very low even on the highest setting. Our solution was going to walmart and buying a entry level surround sound system. We found one by Vizio for under 110.00 and it brought the Orion to life, being just what the Doc ordered.

Orion has made Emerson,Sansui, Admiral, Memorex, RCA, Toshiba, Insignia, Akai and Zenith.
Try those codes. You can call Orion at 800 289 0980. I think the replacement remote for the FTDV2004B is less than $20.

The SAP must be turned off and you must have the original remote apparently. I would do a search for Orion customer support and get a remote.
