Does your computer have more than one location where the video-cable can be connected?
If so, connect to that alternate location.
Try connecting the monitor to a laptop, to see if the laptop can send a signal to the monitor.
You might have to "toggle" the laptop (internal-screen-only / external-screen-only / both-screens)
to activate the external screen.
hey yo, i think your problem is quite similar to my problem. Because after I've installed it properly and after 5 hours working the screen suddenly become blank and not detect the connection. I think the mobo already broke down.. T_T
try only connect Monitor and keyboard, and check for booting (disconnect all the rest (HDD, CD DRIVE, Sound Card, Network Card, ....) then try connect one by one and always off to change hardware config.
If dont work with monitor and keyboard, try reset bios(jumper),check again, then replace memory modules (must be compatible to new motherboard), evan dont work, send back the motherboard for defective motherboard.
There is nothing wrong with the monitor. The LCD is not recieving any signals from the PC. Either you are connecting the VGA cable incorrectly or your VGA card is not set from the PC BIOS. The VGA cable might also be faulty. Recheck that all the connections are clean and secure. If you are using a PCI-E or AGP card, the computer BIOS should be set to send the video signals through the PCI-E or AGP card. Follow the procedure in your motherboard manual. If your pc has on-board graphics then you should connect the VGA cable to the on-board VGA out connector.
Sounds like your video card is bad. You will need to purchase a new one. On some machines there is 2 video connectors -like 1 on the motherboard and 1 other mounted in a slot just verify that you have tried both connectors if you have them before buying a new card.
NOTE: Usually the slot mounted video card will over-ride the motherboard video by default.
No signal on screen means that there is no input for your monitor from the PC.
1. There might be problem in your PC or in the cable connected to PC from monitor.
2. Your PC might damage that it could not send signal to the monitor.
2.1 In your Motherboard might be faulty in the VGA chips.
2.2 In your Motherboard's SMPS mean power supply.
I think you can got my point. If you are tech person it will help you, otherwise you should take a tour to any service centre.
when ur starting the tower and it light are on and ur fan there is no problem with the power supply, i think that u rily need a new motherboard because ur board will not boot on start up..
