US Cellular is a CDMA network. Maybe your Galaxy S4 is for a GSM network? GSM phones have a SIM cards and these need to be changed to activate them on another GSM network as well as the GSM phone being unlocked to do this. In USA only T- Mobile & AT & T run GSM networks. Outside of USA most networks are GSM. There are four GSM frequency bands which vary in use by country. The S4 if it is a GSM phone, being an high level phone would be a quad band phone, so it will work anywhere. Cheaper phones may only have Dual Band and therefore only work in the countries with the matching frequency bands.

Unlock code for s4 mini for us cellular

Do you want to unlock your Samsung Galaxy s4 mini from current locked network to use with US cellular ? If so, in which network your Samsung is locked to ? In which country ? To unlock your phone , use unlock code . You can get it from any of the online vendors like ClassicUnlocking.com to unlock it . Note : After unlocking your Samsung, you can use any other GSM sim cards internationally . You can't use CDMA technology with it . Because, Samsung s4 is a GSM phone . It accepts only GSM sim cards not US cellular or any other CDMA sim cards ,

Samsung turns off

I have 2 sgh-m919 galaxy s4 s from TMobile. Both phones were randomly showing the message "sim card not detected restart" and phone would reboot.. sometime would have to reboot 2 or 3 times before i was normal. I tried many of the net poste solutions including paper on sim card, clear cache, new battery etc. Nothing worked

This week i was ready to buy a new phone.. but was sure the phone wasnt the problem. I started deleteing apps one at a time and found the problem. It is GOOGLE MAPS !!! G0 into settings / more / application manager / slide over to all/ down to Maps /clear cache/ uninstall updates / force stop. Then turn off phone and restart. When you go to use maps or waze again when it asks for permission "decline" it will still work and you wont see the sim not detected restart message again.. Google the words google maps crash or reboots and see how many phones crash. Galaxy s4 happen to have the dialog box that makes it appear to be a hardware problem! Googles motto use to be "First do no harm" please reply if this works for you

Good luck!
