Put your phone in a bag, put it in the freezer...
It will might work until it warms up again..
It might be your screen, it might be the body of the phone...
for the screen...
get a TORX 6 screwdriver
take it apart
Google for V220 take apart/ disassembly
WIggle the tiny flex cable connector
near the hinge.. still no luck ????
Buy another V220 on ebay
gently take the phone apart and sub in the whole
screen shell and front of keypad.
DO NOT TRY TO remove the screen from the body section..
you will destroy to the teeny tiny flex cable.
Still problems?
then its the body... your phone is useless
undo what you did, re-assemble the parts phone,
learn how to flash the spare phone..
USB adapter
Motorola P2K drivers for XP
Motorola or other flash tools
enter phone service mode
connect phone to pc
flash back to V 364 firmware
run unlocker
flash unlock firmware
enter dummy unlock
reflash to v365 firmware
More details googling above and reading lots
OR.. Pay $10-20 have someone else do it...
I wont, too much work...

One night closed phone and put it down. The next morning the screen was green and pink and you can't see anything on the screen. The phone works fine, but you can't see what you are typing in and you can't see who is calling you.
I dropped my V500 the other night, after which, both the inner and outer screens were blank. The next day both screens started working again but within 24 hours the problem returned and it still hasn`t fixed itself. I am desperate to access the phone numbers which are held in the phone`s memory (and obviously I want to use my phone). I am hoping that it is simply a loose connection. Anyone know a step by step procedure to tracing & fixing this problem ?
