Hello,
This might be your colorwheel or ballast. If its a sound like a whirling metal/glass sound then its most likely a colorwheel malfunction. If the sound is more electrical like a buzzing sound it can be the ballast. Before all this you want to make sure you purchased an original Philips brand lamp because those knocks offs can damage your TV!!

On U_Tube, there is a video that shows the replacement proceedure. I understand it is quite good. My neighbor used it and it went in pretty easy. If you Google the model # it should be able to give you a link to it.

Probably a defective color wheel. The bearings are bad or perhaps the wheel itself is broken.

Chances are the lamp is the only problem. But there is no way to know until it is replaced.

although the lamp may look ok your tv has all the signs of lamp fail they only need a slight bang. I know that it is cheaper to replace lamp than light engine
