How to stop the beeping and sign. Of bad line on a Hotpoint stove

If your Hotpoint stove is beeping and displaying a "bad line" error, it could be indicating a problem with the electrical connection to the stove. Here are some things you can try to stop the beeping and resolve the error:
  1. Check the power cord for any damage or fraying. If the cord is damaged, it should be replaced.
  2. Make sure that the electrical outlet is functioning properly. Test it with another appliance to ensure that it is providing power.
  3. Check the circuit breaker or fuse for the stove. Make sure that it has not tripped or blown.
  4. Make sure that the stove is properly grounded. This may require a professional electrician.
  5. If the error message continues to appear, the problem might be with the stove's internal wiring and it would be best to contact a Hotpoint service agent, who can inspect the stove and determine the cause of the problem.

Why does my hotpoint, electric ignition gas stove beep -F1-

You are having connection issues, or a failing keypad. Disconnect the power. Pull down the control panel and disconnect the thin, flat ribbon connector that goes from the keypad to the control board, then re-connect the power and see if the F1 returns without the keypad attached. If it returns, get the computer board rebuilt at Corecentric Solutions. If the F1 doesn't return, buy a new keypad... Help Me Find My Model Number RepairClinic com

I plug my gas stove in and the display says bad line and beeps steady

"bad line" error means the control panel is not seeing a proper voltage to the oven. Have the power connections checked with a voltmeter all the way to the control panel. If voltage is present, you may need a new control. 25316221-dz1fkxf1fwolart5ai0divhk-4-0.jpg

Can't seem to access Hotpoint Stove Pilot Light?

Your range uses electronic ignition, not pilot lights. For surface burners the igniter sparks when the gas valve is turned to the "light" position. All burners should spark when any gas valve is in the light position. For the oven the ignitor is also electric but does not spark but rather heats up or glows. What is the problem with your range?

My parents have a lofra 90cm gas stove and can't find the electric start for it. They are using a lighter to ignite it.

Purchased a Savoir-faire free-standing stove (model C900) about 5 years ago and need to replace the rubber seal (2270mm). Brand doesn't exist any more - where can I source this product?

My gas stove top and oven will not ignite . . . do I need to worry about an explosion before it can be fixed?

Hi, If this model has standing pilot lights, you need to turn the gas off. If this is an electonic/spark ignition stove, you will not need to worry about any gas excaping.
