The printer may be detecting dust or something on the sensor, and detecting it as a jam

I would recommend that you take it to a authorized printer repair shop and have them remove the paper. Printers have sensors that if not properly installed upon servicing the machine it will give error codes and stop the unit from printing.
When I have paper jams on my printers I always pull the paper from the discharge side to prvent any sensors being bent or broken. Good Luck!!!

DIY video tutorial on how to repair the Samsung CLP-315, CLP-301 laser printer "paper jam" problem, where the paper stops printing about halfway through for no apparent reason. My printer worked great otherwise, but was out of warranty. It would have been less expensive to get a new printer.

The problem is a very cheap sensor.

This repair takes 15 minutes and is inexpensive. Read the comments below.

Printer stops hafway the print, giving paper jam. once paper is removed it still gives 'paper jam' , once turned off ad on is disappers but next print is still jammed halfway

You can get the part on eBay for about $10 and it's a fairly simple 15 minute fix.

My Samsung 310 printer is giving a paper jam message inside warning when I turn the printer on and yet there is no paper jammed inside. Cannot print. Been working fine before. Mayb 100-150 pages printed...

Chek paper size (A4, letter...etc)in driver options and compare it whit your file settings (fo example - you trying to print something whit paper size A4 but printer expect letter format...etc)

I will try to add the video to this post. The sensor is available on eBay for around $8 to $12 and it takes only about 15 minutes to fix the printer.

The printer does not fully explel the paper & so comes up as a jam in exit area, paper is not actually jammed

My piece of cardstock paper keeps jamming barely out of the tray. is there something i can do to have it go all the way through. I have a samsung clp-315 laser printer.

Yes, you have to change the print properties on the computer to let the printer know it is using cardstock. Please refer to the owners manual to get the information. The manual can be found at www.samsung.com under the support section.

OVER HEATING IS DIFFERENT AND PAPER JAM IS DUE TO OPTICAL SENSOR PROBLEM. kINDLY TAKE IT TO AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER.

This is the problem in the exit sensor of the printer. Please approach authorised service center they will change for you.
