Actually, ultimatum, this particular model does play both music and video files, though the latter must be in AMV format. The mp3 player should have come with a CD containing the conversion software you will need. If not, try googling 'WMV (or whatever filetype your videos are) to AMV converter'.
I do not think it is possible to transfer videos directly from YouTube to your player, but there is software out there that will let you "record" videos online and save them to your computer. These files can, in turn, be converted and transferred to the device via the included software.
why not try the avi format video?
Just get this tool to help you. 1. load your file to Video Sharer 2. choose AVI format 3. click" convert" button. Then you will get the right format. Here is the tool for you: http://www.asharer.com/download-video-sharer
Most music videos have a copyright protection system on them which will not allow them to be played on your mp3 player, even though they will play fine on your computer. You would have to get a media converter that can bypass or strip the copy protection that will also convert these files to AVI first (by the way, this type of software is illegal). YouTube-type videos are best. You may need a legal FLV to AVI converter (like Riva FLV Encoder) to convert the videos first.
you should check the settings on the mp3 player. I remember that many mp3 players have a setting called play the first 10 seconds of every music. Anyway check the similar setting on your mp3. Goodluck!
