Use a pair of thin "needle-nose" type of pliers. The best type are flat pliers called "duck-billed" pliers. You can grab the plastic end of the battery and pull it out. Most camera stores can usually remove it for you (usually at no charge, if they're nice guys). It happens all the time.

Which battery should we use duracell non rechargable or chargable

Any battery but when you are not using it take battery's out because
1. They are being drained when in whether you are using it or not.
2, If you leave them in long term they start to corrode and then mess up the connections where battery's fit.

Why does the charger kill a new battery in 1 minute?

That typically happens if the charger is shorted or the battery is inserted backwards. Putting energy into some batteries that are not designed to be rechargable will destroyh them.

Install new charged rechargable batteries and will be dead batteries in bout 2 hrs not even turned on. take 2 pics and gone

Is your newly charged battery are new? Maybe your battery is worn out already. Or buy a new rechargable batteries and observe. Remember do not over charge your battery, this is always the reason why your battery got easily worn out. Thanks

I have just brought a new dewalt dc390 cordless circular saw and it seems that the motor is running backwards?

It is possible that the motor is running backward but... first see the manual here:
http://www.plumbersurplus.com/pdf/08364.pdf Make sure the blade is installed as pictured in figure 4 page 11 of the manual.
After seeing the manual..... make sure the battery is charged correctly. The flat side of the battery should be toward the back of the charger when charging. If somehow the battery was inserted backward in the charger it is possible the battery was reverse charged during the intital charge. If you suspect this has happened.... insert the battery in the saw and run the saw until the battery is DEAD. Then insert it properly in the charger and leave it there for 9 hours so the charger will do the automatic tune up equalization of the battery.

If none of the above correct the problem, someone connected the internal battery power wiring incorrectly during FACTORY assembly. I would take it back to the retailer first... before processing a warranty claim.

Batteries wont work on my Nikon L11

Hello

i have used Digipower AA rechargable and Everready AA rechargable batteries without a problem lasting a long time in this model.

you may have a problem with the battery charger itself.

batteries i am using are rated at 2400-2500 ma

in the menu button, select shooting menu - set up - scroll all the way down to battery type, select the battery type you are using and press ok in the center of the button.

you can use the coolpix nimh selection for other rechargable brands.

Help with frozen lense

the lens is stuck out because there is incorrect battery connection. there is an option on the camera setting for the battery type. try this one:
-turn the camera on
-click on Menu button
-select options using left/right, up/down button
-select Set up 2
-Select Battery type
-Select Alkaline for non-rechargable
or Ni-MH for rechargable
-click OK button

this setting should be done when using camera for the first time and whenever you are switching battery types, from rechargable to non-rechargable and vice versa.

Camera won't turn on

Please make sure the memory card is properly connected. Remove it and insert it again. Check if the battery is properly inserted in the camera. Remove the battery and wipe it with a dry cloth. If your camera uses AAA rechargable batteries ensure the polarity is correct when you insert them in the camera.
