Need to find start up menue and short cuts for front page

You need an auto-electrician. When you cut those wires, you momentarily shorted the power across all 4 wires with whatever you used to cut them.

Then when you disconnected the battery, you disconnected the alarm and immobilizer. On reconnection, the system is lost.

Moral of the story, don't cut wires.

I believe you are talking about short-cuts on the desktop.

If you have the program on the Start Menu you can copy the shortcut there and paste it into the desktop to restore the icon.

If the icon produces blank pages, it may have been a program that required a specific command to install it. Once you have deleted it, the only way to restore the icon properly is to re-install the program and tick "put short-cut on desktop".

Here is an easy way
Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

Click on the tools at the bottom of the drop down list will be internet options or
Click start control panel internet options you will see a home page box To Create Page Tabs type

each adress on its own line (type in www.google.com) or your preferred home page and browser
below that will be change search defaults click on settings you will see all search Providers
Toolbar extensions and Accelerators you have if don't need any of them you can disable or remove them.

Here is another option to add

Right click in the bottom toolbar (Bottom of Screen) select the toolbars option then Desktop this will add >> arrows in the bottom toolbar select the arrows you will see a list with control panel which has another list of all control panel items.

The front of your computer is the Front Panel.
The area of pins on the motherboard, that the main cables, (Wires), go to, is the Front Panel header.

Motherboard as installed in computer case;
Processor to the top, Ram Memory slots to the right, white PCI slots to the bottom;

The Front Panel header is located at the Bottom/Right corner.

The pins across the TOP are numbered ODD.
Starting on the LEFT side going towards the Right;
Pins 1, 3, 5, and 7. There is NO Pin 9.

The pins across the BOTTOM are numbered EVEN.
Starting on the LEFT side going towards the Right;
Pins 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10.

A) Pins 1 and 3 are for the Power On LED (Light)
Pin 1 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
If the LED is dim when the computer is on, switch the wires around.

B) Pins 5 and 7 are for the Power On switch.

C) Pins 2 and 4 are for the HarDDrive activity LED (Light)
May be marked on the wires as HDD, or IDE.
Pin 2 is for the Positive ( + ) wire.
If the harddrive activity LED is dim when the harddrive is active, switch the wires around.

D) Pins 6 and 8 are for a Reset switch, IF a Reset switch is used.

E) Pin 10 is N/C
Not Connected. (Probably a +5 Volt point for the factory to use)

Go into customer menu and look both in setup and audio menus.

In set up are speakers switched on or off?

In audio menu which sound mode is selected? (Mono-stereo-sap)

Have you accidently slid the wireless switch to the off position
think the switch is on the front bottom right hand side of the laptop and needs to be
slid over to the right hand side to enable the wireless to work

Look for a damaged or broken sway link that connects the sway bar (one runs across the front of the vechicle and one runs across the back) to the area around the bottom of the shock tower. You will have to check the condition of the connecting link at each location. These usually don't last 10 years and they are inexpensive parts. They are fairly difficult to remove without applying some elbow grease or using a good rotorary cutting tool to cut into the lock nuts to remove them. I use a Dremel style rotary power tool with (here's the key) a diamond cutting wheel. These are available from Harbor Freight Tools for about $6 for a package of three or four on a card and they don't break as easy as the stone type.

You just drag your the toolbar from right to bottom with the help of mouse cursor.
