Question about Sonic EV SonicXS Computer Speakers
I recently put togehter a new computer with a P5K-E mobo that comes with SondMAX Integrated DIgital HD Audio. With the 2.1 EV SonicXS speakers I have (which are quite sweet) you only connect the sub to the computer and it controls the other two channels (run speaker wires and a control wire from the left and right to the sub). My problem is that the onboard sound card won't seem to play through these speakers, it only recognizes that the sub/center channel is connected and says that no speakers are connected. I've tested my speakers on another comp and other speakers on this comp and then yesterday somehow I got the sound to work. I was playing with options and not really paying attention as I didn't really change anything, then after a reboot they just worked. That only lasted until I rebooted again and now I'm stuck. Does anyone know how I can get the sound card to recognize that the speakers are connected through the center channel?
SOURCE: No sound on EV SonicXS 4.1
Good day Idn2000
you may check also in the manual your actual conection, and see if is the right, then check on control panel and speaker setup, for 4.1 setting. if the speakers don't work,at back, something is bad inside the controller, on sub. be carefull opening and moving things inside, but you can check that .
