I need a rercovery disk for a Toshiba PSA60uo2k015

You can use regular windows cd and install drivers from Toshiba webiste. I don't think cds are available now.

I have toshiba laptop satalite with 2 operation windows 2000 and HP windows running thus slowing the system down consiradably. Idealy would like to delete the windows 2000 professinal. Please help

Is your computer still working? You need to create the restore disks using TOSHIBA, TOSHIBA Recovery Disk Creator.

You may have to contact TOSHIBA if you want to purchase restore disk to put it back to the factory condition.

it could be ur hardrive. mite have missing file that are vital to te computers opperating system. insert a rercovery disk (asuming u have one) and repair the opperating system

check your harddisk is detected in bios .
otherwise u have to repair winxp with bootable disk.
Also try to go to recovery console if u have bootable win xp disk.
then type "chkdsk /r" in rercovery console
then it fix error on harddisk and u cna login in winxp

So boot your lapto pwith your rercovery disk then go to recovery console and type "chkdsk /r"

You need to have the recovery disks (2 disks) so that you can do that since the OS needs to be reloaded including the original programs and drivers, from the second disk. The first one is for erasing your HDD's contents. You need to check if you have the Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator program. If you do, that means your HDD has a hidden partition and you are able to create your own recovery disks. Hope this helps. Thank you.
