If nothing is wrong with the camera, the battery is placed correctly, the battery cover is closed correctly then only one thing can be wrong. Even when you don't believe it is possible, the battery can be flat again.
So to make sure everything is as you think. Charge the battery again, and look if the charger acts as usually. The charging lamp turns orange and charging begins. When the charging is finished, the lamp turns green. Last time you charged, it could have taken 4 hours, before the lamp went green. If the battery is recently charged, it only will take a fraction of that time. If it still takes a long time, your battery was empty. It is recommended, to charge not longer than for 24 hours. After charging, please wait till the battery is cooled down. Then insert it again and close the battery cover. Check the cover closes correctly. And now switch on again.
If you charged with an USB cambs connected to the camera. Don't forget to remove the cable, because the camera won't start as long as an USB cable is connected.

Sony dsc w50 quit working

I think the memory card is full , try first taking off the battery and putting it back.
If the camera still does not work, try a different memory card.

If you still have problems, try going to setting menu and reset camera settings.

MY CAMERA WONT COME ON THE TELESCOPE LENSE WONT GO BACK IN IT DOSNT SEEM TO CHARGE

Please try the following: Don't forget if you're charging though the computer NOT to turn the camera on. 1. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Turn the camera on. 2. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty) 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a no power repair with KODAK or a new cable.

In order to clearly determine the fault the model of your KODAK camera is needed However I hope this will help: If your cam use AA batteries: Here are the steps for the no power problem: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. If your camera model requires the manufactures batteries: Here are the steps: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera. Please make sure that you are installing a fresh/ fully charged battery c. Without the memory card, turn your camera on. 3. Please test with the a different battery If you do not have access to another battery Try these steps instead: Please take the battery out of the camera. b. Insert the charger into the unit from the main socket and turn the camera on. If the camera works you will need to replace the battery. If you camera doesn?t switch on you will need to order a No power repair or a new cable. I hope this will help:

2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera

When i power the camera up it won't come but the word access pops up and after a minute the message on the back of the camera will read "turn the power off and on again" . what could be the problem .

If the camera doesn't turn on when you move the power switch, remove the batteries from the camera, re-insert them and connect the camera to a camera dock--if you have one. Check the LED lights on the dock and make sure the batteries are charging. Refer to your manual to learn which lights should be on when the batteries are charging. If they are not, try powering the camera back on after inserting new batteries.

Also try cleaning the battery contacts in the battery compartment using a clean, dry lint-free cloth. Sometimes, little particles can cause short-circuits in the battery compartment. If the camera still does not turn on after you clean the contacts, your camera may have had a power failure. Contact the manufacturer.hope this helps you

please do rate me on this issue

My kodak digital camera wont stay on!

Your problem could be the result of corrosion on the battery terminals inside the camera. Remove the batteries and clean the battery contacts inside the camera with a soft cloth (a heavy buildup on the contacts may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that the cleaning leaves in the camera, clean both ends of each battery, and then reinstall the batteries. This clears most power-on problems, but if yours persists, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:
