Sound problem hello sir, i m have CPU motherboard- BIOSTAR 945 and i have problem with sound.there is no sound & when i install the sound driver they are asking for some Xp proffisional service pack 2 cd.plz help me out. by net or without cd how can i solve this problem. thank u

Did you download the driver or was it from the motherboard CD.
Is there a more complete reference for the motherboard maybe in the manual or on the motherboard itself.

It seems like you've just reinstalled your computer, and have installed Windows XP on it.
Here's the case: Your sound card driver needs Windows Service Pack 2 to work. Service Packs are just big updates, and you can download them via windows update.
Just install every update available, then you will probably have to restart. Do this, then go to the site again and download more updates. Repeat this untill you have them all. (This can take a while, there are like 200 of them). Once you have all the updates you will be able to install the driver without any trouble.
