Hello

It is not the code problem. There is only one code, and it is for adjusting its parameters , and have beed done at the factory, and havenot, and should not be changed at all. You just inform them to check its chroma section, with its schematic dagram nearby him, whether the colour and contrast pin control voltage of the chroma IC is vaiying according to the increase or decrese to the parameters with its remote or with its fron panel control. If it does not varies, tell him to check its system control side. OK

Red colour appearing on screen

Your tv could have one of several faults. None of which are to be tackled by anyone except a qualified engineer due to the electric shock hazard.the first problem could be the crt (tube) the second could be the componets on crt base circuit board ie resistors or ic.
With a tv 9 years old it may not be economical to carry out a reair.

Vertical line at edge of AV1 channel

hi! he might have adjusted the vertical hold and height including the linearity. normally on the board you would see a trimmer resistor with a label v-hold this is to stop the rolling, v- height for the size of the picture. and linearity for the evenness of the picture from top to bottom.
