Brother Inteifax 775 will not send fax

go to menu option and choose the option fax and set the parameter like auto receive or manual set the ring auto answer mode after certain ring. If it is in auto receiving mode it will receive the fax after the ring which you set.

make sure the phone wire which you insert in fax machine getting proper dial tone and getting out going calling facility.

Hi!Please just lift up the adf(where u put in the faxes)U should see a thin glass strip,Take a damp cloth and gently wipe out any marks that might be on there and have a look!The stripe should be gone!Good Luck!

That could be the problem. Some area codes wont allow it to go through. Its being blocked for that it is not set up in that network. Good luck

1) Call your phone company and have them do a line check
2) If ECM is turned on on your fax machine turn it off.

TAD means Telephone Answering Device like an answering machine.

Change the mode from TAD to F/T by pressing mode button on front panel . Thanks

try cleaning the grid on the drum unit otherwise there could be some thing on the fuser preasure roller.

that is a printhead error. call brother and see if its under warranty by giving them the serial number. if its not, the last i knew, the printhead w/ cartridges was about $100.00. hth, ray
