How can i make my CD ROM display

Respected sir,you have to install VGA which is not responding to your computer.
To install the driver you bought a CD which has come with your new computer.
By inserting the disc in the CD-ROM and following the instructions of CD helps you to install VGA.
It provides better resolution to your computer.

Sounds like it is a hard disk issue. Corrupted MBR. Or missing Boot Loader. Your partition must be Fat32 since Win98 won't recognize NTFS. Try running chkdsk if not successful than repartition and format. BIOS is OK since you stated it will install windows. Corrupted BIOS won't allow pc to load. From a win98 bootdisk choose not to load cd. From the dos prompt type FDISK /Status If more than 1 partition check active partition settings.

if you get a paper clip or needle, you can insert it in the little hole on the left on the dvd rom and this will eject the cd from inside .

plz try by cleaning your cd rom with lens cleaner, if the problem persists than plz change the rom

it may be due to virus..dont try decoders..and just remove the drive and clean ur lens with an soft cloth..no need to remove from the cabint..
if u have an software isobuster then use it,nor download it's an freeware..stil it doesn solve tell me..

Internal the pickup assy. (the laser) there are three components that read the discs, one for DVD one for CD and one for the DVD-ROM its likely that the DVD-ROM laser has gone out. Take the drive out and get the part number and look it up online on ebay or the like :-)
