Harmon kardon avs 320 no display on screen

Two issues: 1 - The on screen display does not function. It is black. 2- The system's orange power light is on, but when the remote "turns on the system" the blue light does not appear. When the remote "turns off the system" the orange light displays. Manually operating the power switch doe the same thing.

SOURCE: was using the harmon kardon avr 225 receiver and the front panel went out. .... screen display of the channel number, volume, or menu item does not work. ...

Try hooking up a yellow video wire from the back of the AVR 225 Monitor out. Should be at the end of the 7 or 8 yellow video ports on the back of the stereo. Next plug the other end into a yellow video in on a t.v. Get your remote, (Harmon/Kardon) and make sure the t.v. is on the correct video input and hit the OSD(on screen display) button on your harmon remote. There should be a setting in there that says VFD under ADVANCED menu option that allows for turning the front of your stereo lights on and off and dimming them half way also. OFF/HALF/FULL are the 3 options I believe.

If this doesnt solve it your display may have crapped out on you.

How do i connect a set of Harmon Karden HK695-01 speakers to a Macbook Pro Mid 2010

HI Marc
Follow the steps below
Step 1:
Connect the green connector from the subwoofer into the headphone jack on the laptop, the black connector is not used, leave the rubber cap on the black connector to prevent static from the pin grounding on the system.
Step 2:
Plug the orange connector from the right/control satellite into the orange jack on the subwoofer.
Step 3:
Plug the brown connector from the left satellite into the brown jack on the subwoofer.
Step 4:
Plug the AC plug of the HK 965 into the wall outlet
Step 5:
Turn on the speaker set and adjust the volume accordingly.
PS: Do not Forget to adjust the Laptop volume also to minimize Distortion. Enjoy!

When i turn on my harmon kardon avr 165 it shows ''Protect'' and then it turns off again?? what can i do :)

I would try disconnecting the speakers, then turn it on. If protect still shows with no speakers connected, then it needs to go to the repair shop- Might be a blown power transistor.
