Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC
My PC recently under went a change of Operating System (Windows Vista to Windows XP). All seemed to work well for about 20 mins until it came to restarting my PC, it shut down correctly, and seemed to start ok, but
the startup (when i press the power button);
black screen with some info about the graphics card and some versions.
Then an eMachines logo splash image pops up (Being eMachines this is normal) but then this apears: "Error : The system fan has failed, have system serviced immediately. System will power down in 5 seconds"
I know for a fact that there is a setting in bios that should disable the system fan detection, and that by defualt, the system fan detection should be disabled. I think it has somehow been re-enabled and since the system fan is not controlled by the system, the BIOS checks it as failed,
Where can i find the BIOS reset on my motherboard to make sure that these settings are as they should be? The motherboard is the original board that came with the machine from the store but i cant find any info on it, much less where the BIOS reset is.
Can anyone help me here?
I have installed a usb wireless adapter to my emachine 270 pc but it isnt picking up any networks?

Brand and type of ur mobo, in moust of the time a restore to factory defaults is the solution, or go to hardware monitor and disable the fan speed sensor, or check on the mobo that the cpu fan conector is in the right place, if this will not fix le't me to know
