Very Poor Sound level on ASUS VW223T monitor

Hi, the sound level is very poor on my ASUS VW223T monitor, can hardly hear it when set to max on monitor and max volume control on pc. I know its the monitor as I've checked the sound level with the built in speakers of another monitor (phillips 200w).

Is it faulty or designed this way?

Thanks

I can hear the music but people speaking sounds like they're faint and echoed

If you can hear the music in your PlayStation 3 (PS3) but people speaking sounds faint and echoed, there are a few things you can try to improve the sound quality:
1. Adjust the audio settings: Go to the PS3 menu and select "Settings" > "Sound Settings" > "Audio Output Settings." Choose the appropriate audio output settings for your system and TV or monitor, and make sure that the correct input channel is selected.
2. Check your connections: Make sure that all of your cables are securely connected to the PS3 and the TV or monitor. If the cables are loose, this can cause poor sound quality.
3. Check the game or movie settings: If you are playing a game or watching a movie, check the audio settings within the game or movie to ensure that the sound is optimized for your TV or monitor.
4. Adjust your TV or monitor settings: If the sound quality is still poor, adjust your TV or monitor settings. You may need to adjust the bass, treble, and other audio settings to improve the sound quality.
5. Use headphones: If none of the above solutions work, consider using headphones to listen to the sound from your PS3. This can provide better sound quality and reduce background noise and echoes.
If you continue to experience problems with the sound quality on your PS3, you may need to contact Sony customer support for further assistance or repair.

Take care and have a great day! -Alex

Volume too low

are you using the monitor's volume or are you using speakers? If its monitor volume, I would say go into the main menu of the monitor by pressing the menu button. Then go to the volume setting and raise the level. If the volume level is already on the highest, you may want to consider using another solution to monitor sound, such as speakers or headphones connected to your computer.

How do I adjust the volume on ASUS 19

if the volume is too low and your monitor cant be raised more, youll have to use another form of audio. Try headphones or speakers. Monitor speakers are cheap and unreliable so often they dont get loud enough for people's needs.

My speakers sound is terrible now. I changed the

Forst thing is to put a known signal into the speakers, say from a CD recorder to isolate a possible mixer or other source being marginal.

If the sound is still bad, verify that your volume settings are reasonable.

DO NOT crank the gain on these speakers full and then throttle the signal to them as that cause poor signal-to-noise ratio.

If you have driven these speakers very hard (these are only INTENDED for lower level monitoring within the engineer's booth), you MAY have damaged the speakers. It htat case, repair will be necessary.

Try to determine if the lows or highs or both are bad sounding.

Poor dialog sound of Yamaha RX-V363

I'm working on one right now. It seams that you are not selecting to correct program for the dialog. I would not use music enhancement on dialog content.

Poor sound cqality on a Samsung DLP TV

If you are receving your HD via a cablebox, check the volume and audio settings in the box's menu. Some boxes have internal volume controls. If the level coming out of the box is below a certain level, you may experience low or poor sound quality. You can also check the audio settings to assure that they are set to the original settings.
