How do I get cnm touchpad 9 to authenticate wifi connection to the internet, what are the correct settings, keeps connecting to bt fon instead.

I am assuming you are on an Android platform, so the first thing you should check is to see if your Wifi is on....Settings, Wifi, then usually there is a on/off switch at the top...if its off turn it on and then try to join the wifi AP. If the wifi is on and your still connecting via bluetooth then shut bluetooth off, settings, bluetooth and try connecting...maybe there is a default setting somewhere forcing you to use the bluetooth ...I'd need to know what OS your using and the version number to give you direct information.

Change my email address on my cell phone

Please provide the model number of your device, and what if anything you tried, do you have access to the the settings? In short reguardless of what platform you use (I.E apple rim android etc) this process is generally almost the same,
Try to navigate to your settings and find to email or accounts withing your settings- under the setting in sub menus look for "add account" or "add email", if you do not see this anywhere in any setting sub menu then go to next try
Try to navigate to email and in sub menu or setting attempt to locate "add account" or "add email" if you do not see this in any sub menu see below
Try mail icon, then click options, click email account management, select [email protected], a menu pops up, select delete account, start over and use same method to add [email protected] to the device
Ok so this means you did not find it in such event if you provide me with a model number I can give you a step by step guide, I attempted to show you how to add an account as for some platforms do not allow you to change the primary email address of the device without a hard reset of the device, only to add addresses but you can add accounts and disable receiving mail from that account, even change the password to stop the device from getting emails, but give me your model number and I may better assist you--Good Luck.

I was restoring to "out of the box" settings with

Best bet is to obtain new installation media. If the recovery cds were corrupted chances are system files are corrupted as well. NTLDR or NT Loader, contains information regarding location of system files, operating system etc. To correct it you'll most likely have to reinstall, either fresh, or run a repair operation using whatever OS install disc you're looking to run on your machine.

Cmos checksum error & keyboard not function

CMOS checksum errors
Explanation: A checksum is computed as an error-detecting code, to protect the BIOS settings stored in the CMOS memory. Each time the system is booted this number is recomputed and checked against the stored value. If they do not match, an error message is generated to tell you that the CMOS memory contents may have been corrupted and therefore some settings may be wrong. BIOSes react in different ways to encountering this sort of error. Some will warn the user and then continue on with whatever settings were in the CMOS. Others will assume that the settings that were in the CMOS were corrupted and will load default values stored in the BIOS chip "for safety reasons". The error message will indicate which your system is doing.
Diagnosis: The most common cause of checksum errors in CMOS is a battery that is losing power. Viruses can also affect CMOS settings, and motherboard problems can also affect the stored values.
Recommendation: Follow the instructions in this section to address the CMOS corruption. You should make sure that all of the BIOS settings in the system are correct, by rebooting the system, going into BIOS setup and double-checking all the values (hopefully against a recent BIOS settings backup).

How to block my number from showing up on caller id for cell phone or home phone

The way of doing it depends on your phone. Right now I can tell you how it is done on two platforms:
1) for Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, go to 'Start > Settings > Phone > Services tab > Caller ID > Get Settings...'. After the phone reads the settings from the network, there are 3 options for the caller ID provision You can choose: 'Everyone', 'No one', and 'Only to contatcts'.
2) Now, for LG proprietary OS (on KF750 Secret), click on 'Menu > Calling > Common setting > Send my number'. You will be able to chose between 'Set by network', 'On', and 'Off'.
So, I'm pretty sure other platforms will also have means to set the caller ID provision. However, some very simple phones, like the Motorola F3, simply lacks it.
Cheers! Carlos

No internet gaming on any platform works. All

If you are using a router by default special ports are disabled.... so you need to know the port number that those certain games are using so you can open or forward the ports on your router settings to allow you access to the games.

I realize that my settings are not correct as my pictures are grainy. How do I reset the settings and what are they for the best results.

I have one and I think you might have the film speed set too high. The menu button should take you to the settings which will lead you to film speed settings, the lower the number, the slower the shots but clarity might be improved. Also you can try different options on the megapixels, mine goes up to 5 with 2 options. You might have the megapixels setting too low, 5 works well with mine.
Hope it helps.

Deleted text showing on the front screen

Got mine fixed. Had the same problem. Unfortunately it involves resetting to "factory default settings" You will have all your contacts, etc. but it will reset everything else which fixed it for me. You will just have to set up your wallpaper etc.
Go to the Settings & Tools menu. Press phone settings (6). Press Security (5) (You will have to enter your lock code which is the last 4 digits of your number.) Press Reset Settings (5) and it will reset the phone. Now you front screen is reset WooHoo!
