Re: Rings a couple of times then goes to message bank
That's controlled by your service provider, give them a call, they may be able to control the amount of time before it rolls to the message bank. If it's a GSM phone, you can set that yourself, like so:
To get the current call forwarding status, enter *#61#[SEND] into your phone.
Write down the number(ignore the +1), this is the phone number that your calls are currently being diverted to.
into your phone using the phone number (numbers only) as reported by
the status & the delay can be set to (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30)
To verify that the settings are correct, enter *#61#[SEND] into your phone.

hi, im not sure on your exact model but you need to change the call diverts, so its something like this, 1 go into settings 2 call settings 3 call diverts 4, no in here it has options like divert when busy, etc etc, it should also divert when not answered, click on this and choose status and it will tell you what its set to, then it should give you the option of changing the settings, some let you change to 30sec before answer, give me a shout back if you get stuck and ill find out how the menu works on your phone and talk you through the process
dial **61*(the your message bank number)**30# this will extend the time it takes for your phone to divert to message bank to 30 secs. If you dont want message bank you can cancel call diverts in your seetings menu after putting in this code and it will still ring for 30 secs. Note: this does not work for Vodafone Australia
You can change the number of times the phone rings before the unit answers calls. You can select 2 to 7 rings, or “Auto”. “Auto”: The unit answers after 2 rings when new messages have been recorded, and after 5 rings when there are no new messages. If you call your phone from outside to listen to new messages, you will know that there are no messages when the phone rings for the 3rd time. You can then hang up without being charged for the call. 1 Press OK. Select “Answer System”, then press >(Right navigation button). 2 Select “Settings”, then press >. 3 Select “Number of Rings”, then press >. 4 Select the desired setting, then press >. 5 Press End button
Your cell phone carrier controls that. To you it only goes off twice you should find that the caller hears 4-5 rings before going to voice mail. Either way call "611" and talk to the tech department to see if they can help. Call from a different phone.
Hi it sounds like your problem is that the call diverts are set to divert all calls what you need to do is goto settings then goto call settings then look for call divert settings what you need to do is cancel all diverts and then go through them one by one and just activate divert if off (activating this one goes to ans phn if phn off activate divert if busy ( goes to ans phn if your on phone call) activate divert if out of reach (goes to ans phn if no signal) After doing these settings then your phone should ring when someone calls you. Before you activate any divert setting select cancel all diverts then get someone to ring you and make sure phone rings the screen will now display whos callind and the phone should also ring. Let me know if you need further assistance ok let me know how you get on
