Sounds like the F key is stuck. If you can get the keytop off, you may be able to fix the problem. If not, you may need a replacement keyboard.
Hope this helps!

My key keep slash line's for time to time then it stop it do this ///// or keep going when i only push one letter what can i do to fix it ?

Turn off tap to click on the touchpad. Go to Mouse properties in the Control Panel and go to the tab at the very right.
You can also turn off the touchpad completely if you don't use it by holding the Fn key and pressing F7.

My key board and mouse are typing wrong letters and mouse is selecting and opening every folders when clicking to open. laptop brand Fujitsu Seimens

Please check with external usb keyboard and mouse.
If external is working fine.. then there is probelm
with mouse clicking multiple times when you click one time.
For keyborad, you are not given any more information regarding what is the character displaying when which key is pressed. Try to check with numlock, and other functional keys.

if external also not working, check with local laptop repair center.

Please rate me if solution solved.

Jumpy cursor , while typing the cursor jumps to another line and adds the newly typed letters somewhere else on the page

The reason this is happening is that as you are typing; you're resting some weight on the thin plastic above the touchpad...which then makes contact and registers a 'click'; thus moving your cursor around. Or you're brushing your thumb against it when hitting the space key.

Some laptops are more susceptible to this than others. Some more modern laptops come with a button to turn the touchpad off to solve this very problem.

The only thing you can do about this is to disable the touchpad through the touchpad driver (down by the clock, usually) and use a mouse instead. Depending on how you use your laptop, this will be more or less inconvenient- if your laptop never leaves the desk; disable the touchpad and use a mouse...no problem. If you go mobile a lot, you'll have to enable and disable the touchpad all the time.

The other thing you can do is adapt your typing style so you don't put any weight on anything but the key you're pressing. This is quite difficult and uncomfortable, and is not recommended for long sessions.

My keyboard wont type anything, the mouse works, but when i try to type it wont do anything, the buttons do work because when i open word to try to type if i click f the file drops down and when i click v...

Hi,
Somehow the left ALT key is stuck in a pressed position. Usually when you press left ALT and the letter underlined in a menu, it deploys that menu. In the File menu, the F is underlined and in the View menu it is the V that is underlined, hence the behavior.

Hope it helps.

Need to reset display settings

Hi

Take a look at the keyboard and find the FN button on the bottom left. (The letters FN are in blue)

Now look at the F keys at the top of keyboard and find one that has either a couple of monitor symbols or the letters CRT/LCD - again in blue

Holding down the FN key and press the other key, this should change screens between the external and internal monitors. Don't expect an instant change - it sometimes takes a couple of seconds to do the job.

If that does not work then attach another external monitor, right click on the screen and select properties. Now select the far right tab (settings) and then go to Advanced tab and then select Monitor

Here you should be able to change screens back to the LCD of the laptop

Acer Aspire 3004 - Random reboots; random mouse program select w/o mouse click

the rebooting could well be a driver error, and you pc is set to reboot instead of stopping and showing the code numbers on a blue screen togive any clues, but it sounds as if it could be the touchpad driver. Go to my computer icon, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look down the list for mice and other pointing devices and click the '+' sign and it will probably read synaptics touchpad, right click on it and select uninstal. Restart your notebook and the touchpad will be installed automatically and should, if the driver is not corrupt perform as normal.
