I need driver for installation of cam (orbiCam Acer Aspire 5570zwxmi)

What you can do is to reinstall the driver/software for your web cam to work..
You can download and install the driver at this link :

Just select Acer Orbicam under Vista. Just download and install.

The Acer OrbiCam is a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam mounted at the top of certain Acer laptops. The webcam can record video clips and integrate with instant messaging software. If you are trying to use your Acer OrbiCam but it won't connect, the driver--a small software file that tells the webcam what to do--may be outdated. Acer provides webcam driver update pages for the Aspire 9300 and Aspire 5570 versions.

1.Go to the Acer 5570 or Acer 9300 Driver Download page (see Resources).
2.Click "MS Windows XP" or "MS Windows Vista" on the drop-down menu, depending on your operating system.
3.Select "Acer OrbiCam Bison Driver" from the menu.
4.Click "Save File > OK" and wait for it to download.
5.Double-click on the downloaded setup files to install the driver.
6.Go back to the Acer Downloads page, and select "Acer OrbiCam Driver Bison Utility 1.0.0.13" from the drop-down menu.
7.Click on "Save File > OK" and wait for it to download. Double-click on the downloaded setup files to install the driver.
8.Restart the computer.

First uninstall cam driver from add remove program or device manager.

Then install again.

If you havent cam driver then downlao0d from below link and install.

If you uninstalled via device manager:-

Unplug Orbicam

Right Click My Computer >> Properties >> Hardware >> Device Manager

Plug in Orbicam

Click the top one in the list (Your Computer name)

Click Scan for hardware changes (small icon at top of device manager next to help button

Windows redetects any new hardware , hopefully it should find the camera , thenn you are prompted for device drivers :- Select automatically and see if it finds it

If not , download the drivers you mentioned above , then specify where the drivers are in the hardware wizard and it should reinstall everything then orbicam should work again

If you have a grey rectangle where ur cam should be. Especially after a fresh install plus all the drivers. although Then here's your solution :)

Go into device manager and delete the USB controller. Then reboot. When it says new hardware found let it automatically install it. Et voila, working cam :)

Hi if you are using WinXP install SP2 so that your Cam is recognized and then install the corresponding driver for the Cam .

you have chosen the wrong driver, go to the link below and choose orbicam (logitech) not the Bison one

What kind on cam is it? fid the driver for it. then you have to have a program that will take a webcam, like Yahoo messanger or MSN messanger.

download the driver and application for orbicam from www.acerpanam.com

disconnect the cam and restart you system and then after restarting connect back the cam and let the system detect it. and follow the installation procedure as computer appear.

if nothing work then uninstall the cam driver and restart.
and then reinstall the cam driver again(disconnect first the cam from the laptop) after installing connect back the cam and let detect again the system.

if nothing work notify me for further instruction.
