SOURCE: setting time and date crown positions

Yes, you must unscrew the crown before you wind up or set the watch. Always screw the crown down afterwards this keeps the watch in a water resistant condition.

How do i set the date on my v6 super speed v0048 watch?

Most analog watches set the date by using the crown (the large knob in the center of the right side). The V6 is a low priced watch so it won't have a screw-down crown. You simply pull out the crown to set either date or time. But note that the crown will have 2 positions. The 2nd position is when the crown is fully pulled out. That sets the time. You have already done this. Well, pull out the crown again, but now push it in but very gently. You'll want to be in the 1st position. Some watches like the V6 have this very subtle. Once in the 2nd position, spin the crown and the date numbers should change. You may need to make at least one full rotation or more to trigger the date change. Keep going until you've got the right date.

I don't know how to set the date on my bertolucci watch

Having trouble pulling out the crown, or nob? You might have a screw down crown so you need to unscrew it going downward before you even can pull out the crown to set.pull the crown out once for the date and twice to set the time.

How to set the date in sector sge 650 2653960035 watch? Thanks.

Unscrew crown. Some models of Sector Sport watches may have a screw down crown. Watches meant to be used in water will often have this feature. To test this try spinning the crown freely in both directions. If it does not spin freely it has a screw down crown. If your Sector has a screw-down crown, turn it in a counter clockwise motion to unscrew it until it pops free.

Pull crown out one click and set date. If the watch has a date perform this step, if not move on to the next step. Pull the crown out one click. Twist crown clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date to the previous days day and date. The purpose of this is to set the date by setting the time and insuring the watch is in the correct a.m. and p.m. mode.

Pull crown out to the next click and set time. Pull the crown out the to next click. This is the time setting mode. Set the time by turning the crown clockwise until the day or date changes to the current date. This is the a.m. mode. Continue to the correct time. If it is a p.m. time this will require moving one full circuit of the dial past the twelve again and then to the correct time. If you fail to do this, the date will change at noon. If there is no date, simply set it to the correct time.

Push in and screw down crown to retain water resistance. Push crown down into its furthest setting. If it is a screw-down crown, press the crown in with a finger and twist it clockwise. Be careful here not to cross thread the crown in the crown tube or it will need to be replaced. It should be smooth and easy to turn. If any pressure or resistance is felt stop and start over. If you fail to screw in a screw down crown your Sector Sport watch will not be water resistant.

Watch is missing user guide, how do I set the Honora 3ATM watch

To set a basic wristwatch, simply pull the crown (the winder button at the 3:00 position on 99% of watches) out gently - it will click into adjusting position. Wind to send time and then push back in again.

Variations on this are: If you have a watch with date display, the crown will have 2 positions, the first click will be to set the date and the second click (fully out) is to set time. If you need to adjust the date, I suggest you wind the date to the day before you need and then use the second click to wind the hands to the correct date. This way you will be able to know if you have the hour at a.m or p.m position and avoid it have the date changing during the day instead of at night.

One last variation for wristwatches is a screw down crown. Some water resistant and sports models incorporate an added feature whereby the crown is threaded so it can be tightened down to avoid water entering - the most common place water gets into a watch! If you have one of these, you simply need to screw the crown anticlockwise until it pops out and then refer to the instructions above. Don't forget to push and screw the crown back in clockwise when you are done

How do i set date and time

NOTE: NEVER EVER set the date between 7pm and 2am or you will damage the watch!! The crown is screwed down to make it waterproof. Start by unscrewing the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it pops out slightly. That is position '1' which is used for winding. Pull it out two more clicks to position '3' and set the time by turning the crown clockwise. Turn it past midnight at which point you will see the date change and continue turning till you get to the right time. If you're setting the time to a point after noon, be sure to go all the way past 12 noon before setting the time or the date will change at noon instead of midnight. If the time is before 7pm push the crown in to position '2' and turn it to set the date. When you are finished push the crown all the way in and turn it clockwise to screw it down.

How do I set date & time?

usually breitlings have a screw-in crown with a gasket for diving. If you cannot pull the crown away from the case, try unscrewing it. After a little pressure to the left, the crown should begin to turn. Unscrew it carefully and you should be able to pull it out one stop for the date and all the way (note second hand stops) to set the time. Be careful pushing it back in and screwing it back down. You don't want to potentially damage the threads. The crown is back in place when you ca't screw it in any more and the "B" is straight up and down
