My ws55613 has horizontal lines when we first turn on set. They disappear after a minute or two. This has been going on for a while, any suggestions?

That's almost always due to RF interference from an electric motor. It doesn't even have to be close to your TV, just operating on the same circuit or near a poorly insulated wire, which acts as an antenna, injecting 60Hz (and harmonic) noise into the power supply.

If it's right next to the TV it will be even more pronouced because the RF interference resonates into the TV circuitry itself, not just the power supply to the TV.

Typically a high current AC motor like a vacuum cleaner, refrigerator, dehumidifier, air conditioner, furnace, etc.

Horizontal lines shadowed / blured picture after 20-30 minutes

There are some semiconductors or capacitors that are leaky. Might need thorough check up inside the TV.

KV36XBR400 fragmented picture horizontal overlapping lines

this will continue to degrade, almost any failure that can be affected or temporarily cleared up by hitting the set is caused by bad solder joints.

A good shop should be able to find and fix the bad solder connections for probably a little under $100
if you bring it to them and pick it up.

How to fix horisontal lines on display ( see the picture)? They stronger when system is restarted and then fading but never disappearing. They always stay the same.

horizontal lines can be caused by either a faulty grapchics card or a faulty monitor. try adjusting the screen refresh rate. if you are using a windows xp system goto

start>control panel>display>settings>advanced>monitor

then adjust the screen refresh rate and see if the horizontal lines disappear. if not, then you probably have a faulty graphics card or monitor.

Horizontal lines

If this model has a "lint screen" or air filter, I would check to make sure the set is getting proper ventilation. Otherwise, you probably have a bad solder connection or capicators going bad, causing your symptoms. Hopefully you won't have to get a replacement Printed circuit board as they are quite expensive.
