New polar express motor wont engage

Was running fine than just stopped motor is running I think. lights come on but wont engage it like the transmission gone lol... I think its warranty is good bought less than one year ago.

It sounds like the gears have worn out or come adrift somehow. You will be able to get replacement gears from any of the Lionel authorised dealers Lionel Authorized Dealers or their replacement parts service Replacement Parts

I purchased a battery operated lionel polar express train set. I put new batteries and the train wont even light up. Remote works, but does not pair. It is as though I have no batteries i it.

Make sure the batteries are in the right position in the battery box .....The springs are the (-) negative flat end of a AA battery...Compress the spring with the flat end of the battery and push the nipple end (+) into the battery box...it should snap right in....There should be an on-off switch on the locomotive as well..............

Led blinks when train put on track

I am assuming you are using the Lionel CW80 power source. If so, the blinking light might indicate a partial short or a problem with the motor. The reason I believe that is that the CW80 has an internal fuse, which will blow for near shorts/shorts. A stalled motor i.e stuck drive gear, can cause excessive power drain although not enough to blow the internal fuse and also cause the engine not to move. Also, If the engine has the neoprene belt on one of the drive wheels it might have come off and is jamming the running gear or wheel. I believe the Polar Express only has one neoprene belt.

My convertible Beetle Top is not working. How do I fix it

fill it with fluid and leave valve on pump open and manualy open and close top about 5 times then close valve and work top a couple of times not to many because you will over heat motor and go in to stop mode the valve is on the left side of trunk in round acess panel usally rubber

New polar express O gauge tender stopped making any sounds after 10 minutes. All connections are good, sounds switched on. Track has been unplugged and reset. Any ideas?

I would contact Lionel and see if they can assist, especially as it sounds that it may still be under warranty?

Motor runs fine bu sometimes wont move

It could be the belt is worn too thin and the clutch won't engage. Try a new belt and see if that solves the problem. Hope this helps.

My 1995 suburban shifts but does not engage in 4wheel drive light does not come on it worked fine then just stopped no noises nothing all within one day

I have a 95 tahoe with same problem. Fuse was blown. After changing fuse kept bowing. Took apart electric actuator motor and it was full of water and burned out. Installed new one. Still wont engage. What is next steP?

The 4x4 wheel buttin wont light up, and the 4x4 wont engage

There is a small electric motor on the transfer case that shifts in and out of 4WD. Before you take it off, try resetting the switch. There is a relay in the driver side rear in front of the rear washer fluid reservoir. Hold the white button down for about 10 sec. I am pretty sure it flashes. If that does not work, pull off the electric motor and test it with 12v power. Most of the time they jump past where they are supposed to be. If you reverse the polarity, the motor will turn in reverse.

Why is the green light on my Lionel controller blinking? I inherited a Lionel Union Pacific Express Set. Put it together and not working except the train moved for a second.
