Tide indicator not keeping time

Hi I have set the tide hand with the correct tide time from tables but the tide hand will not remain accurate. It looses time. i.e. takes to long for each tide by about 10 mins so after a week or so the indicator is out. I have tried to set the moon phase by waiting for a full moon to occur and putting the moon phase indicator to the vertically up position. The instructions do not give me any details on whether this correct or not. I'm guessing that the moon phase ha to be correct for the tide phase to keep the correct measure. Regards and many thanks

How can I set the tide clock

mcdevito75 here, I've never heard of a tide clock or adjustment or timeing for tide cahnges. The tide changes every 6 hours with 45 minutes at the end of that 6 hours rest you could say before the change of the tide. Refer to your local newspaper or fishing supply outlet for tide schedule.

Nixon lowdown - hourly chime

It is so simple. I struggled with this forever then called customer service. To turn off the hourly chime just press the bottom right (wave/reset) button while in the normal time/tide screen. You do not need to go through all of the modes. Just one button press from the home screen. When you see the target icon disappear you have done it.

No instruction manual

For Compass Adjustment search on Google or FixYa

For Temperature calibration:
1. Pull the crown to most extended position (2 notches)
2. Temp hand moves to a default position
3. Move hand in + or - direction by pressing temp or tide buttons (above and below crown button)
4. When done, push crown to 0 position
(I used melting ice water to calibrate and fix to 0 deg C)

For Tide calibration:
1. Pull crown to middle position (1 notch)
2. Move hand in + or - direction by pressing temp or tide buttons (above and below crown button)
3. When done, push crown to 0 position

Hope this helps

Casio Gulfman G9100 tide setting. where to find Lunar Tidal Interval?

If you look at the GMT differential in the manual, you'll notice that it corresponds to the offset from GMT that your time zone resides in. I live in San Antonio but i don't see that on the list. I do know that when we're not in Daylight savings time, I'm -6.0 from GMT... so that's what i set it for. Also, if you're near enough to the coast to use this feature, it would probably be a good idea to compare the watch reading to the actual tides and adjust accordingly.

Hope this helps.
