Freezer not getting cold enough to freeze.

I have a Frigidaire Commercial Freezer Model Lffu1765dw3
It is not getting cold enough to freeze and is starting
to thaw out leaving water on the floor. The Fan is blowing cold air it's just not cold enough to freeze.
If anyone has some ideas what this might be it would be much appreciated if you could let me know.
Thanks

First culprit could be a refrigerant leak and needs to be charged. If the evaporator is frozen solid it won't push enough sub zero air to freeze. Call a trusted ac&or repair man

ok if this fridge uses a defrost timer, it's probably stuck on defrost or the defrost thermostat is faulty also check the number on your thermostat it its on a low number the fridge won't cool properly also a refrigerant leak could be suspected.

SOURCE: Freezer is running but the items are thawing and not freezing

it could possible be the defroster unit going out on the thermostat theres a hole on the bottom where you can access a screw that will allow you to check and see if the defroster is working put a srew driver in the hole and turn it clock wise till you here it click and then listen for the unit to start defrosting cycle you'll hear a hissing like sound if its working if not you'll need a new defrosting unit

SOURCE: Food in freezer is thawing, compressor very hot to the touch

It sounds like the motor to the circulating fan is wearing out . This fan is hard to diagnose as it will spin the blade , but as you said it will not spin fast enough to circulate air thru the freezer and refrigerator. The motor is DC non brush type. It will cost a minimum of $300.00 to repair/replace this fan assembly, but it is worth that compared to replacing the refrigerator

My frigidaire upright freezer has been working fine until about 2 weeks ago. Now pizzas aren't freezing and freezer corn is soft and i put a ham in it and that was a week ago and it is not froze.

There should be a temperature adjustment inside the freezer somewhere. It will look like a slider or a dial, and be labeled something like "Colder" and "Less Cold" on opposite ends of the scale. If this is set to its coldest setting, and the temperature still is not cold enough to solidly freeze food (ideally, a freezer's temperature should reach ZERO degrees Fahrenheit), then the unit needs to be serviced by an appliance repairman.

We have a Frigidaire Model FFC25C8CWO 25cf commercial freezer chest. The alarm keeps going off. The temp is below zero and we can't get it to get warmer. What can I do? Is it to cold is this why the

Hello Judy, thanks for your post!

From my understanding the alarm on your Frigidaire commercial chest freezer continues to go off. You have explained that the temperature is at zero degrees. It sounds like you could have a potential issue with your thermostat or sensor. I would recommend having a professional technician come out to properly diagnosis your freezer to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Good luck. -Matt

Freezer is not freezing

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire freezer is not getting cold enough to freeze your food. I suggest cleaning the compressor, underneath your appliance, by using an attachment on your vacuum. I also suggest lowering the temperature and giving your freezer 4-24 hours to stabilize at that temperature. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your dishwasher status has changed successfully. If further troubleshooting is needed, please leave me the model number of your freezer. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

I have a frigidaire Crown Series that cools but does not get cold enough to freeze, what should I check?

Feel the compressor to make sure it is not so hot you cannot keep your hand on the top. Doing this also confirms that the compressor is running. If the compressor is running continious and freezer is not freezing well like it should it may indicate a Freon leak and that will require you to be looking for a replacement freezer, Thanks Sea Breeze I just don't have much to offer on an older freezer because when constructed the people that made them use steel tubing and the steel tubing tends to rust allowing leaks to happen in places that cannot be reached or repaired, Let me know what you find.

Refrigerator does not get cold

In your freezer section, there should be a "control" for the freezer temp. I say "control" because the knob is attached to a flap that only controls airflow the the lower section. If the knob is turned to coldest it will block almost all of the air from getting into your fresh food section.
