Water when I squeeze the handle no water comes out

When I squeeze the handle, no water comes out. And I accidentally broke the little red thing that is inside of the water tank

Does water squirt out of the hose nozzle, if it does, then check the heater inside the handle asm. Make sure that where the tubes hook up to it are not clogged. If water doesn't squirt, check for the seal at the bottom of the tank, it needs to be on the tank, not in the hole. The flow indictor cap is leaking air or maybe is too tight. If you had the top cover off, make sure that the tubes are routed right so as not to get pinched when the cover is put back on, the smart mix knob should be in the water setting and that the piston is on the bottom of the smart mix know. Pump is bad.

That red thing is most likely the float asm Part #2140325 .

To operate you simply fill the water tank and the soap container and turn on the the switch. As you push the cleaner forward squeeze down on the handle, release the handle as you slowly pull back. Enusre you clean the filters after use.

I think you are referring to the stair/upholstery tool. Attach the hose
to the machine...turn the pump and vacuum on and use....liquid is
dispensed when you squeeze the handle on the tool..

When I put the clean water bottle on water pours out of the bottom. A little water has always come out but it is now pouring out. I tested my water bottle which seems to be okay. What is the problem?

I have the same problem with mine. I did the chat thing at the Eureka site, but the info wasn't helpful. There is a little part that opens the bottle to release the water when the handle is squeezed. I don't know if that needs replaced or if there is something stuck in the handle grip or ??? I am only putting 1 gallon of water in the tank, so it is not over-full. It is tap water. I live inside a city and have soft water. I don't think it has anything to do with the upper tank, though.

This is an unusual problem. The most likely reason is that the supports inside the upper handle grip have broken, and when you squeeze the trigger, the rod that opens the reservoir assembly is not pushing open the valve. If you remove the upper tank, and look behind it, you should be able to see the end of the actuating rod sitting on top of a rubber valve assembly. Squeeze the trigger and watch the rod to see if it pushes down on the valve. If it doesn't, the upper handle grip will likely need replacement. If it does push down on the rubber seal, the reservoir assembly has probably failed and may need replacement.

The cleaner is not putting out any water to clean

Bissell Proheat Problem

Take the top part of the handle off, make sure that the rod in the handle is moving up and down when squeezing the trigger. The lower part of the handle has a valve that the handle rod pushes on, it make be stuck in the open position.

Hoover steamvac won't spray water on carpet.

Check the ank valve to make sure when you push it in that water is coming out. The reservior asm, (the tank bottom sits on this)is bad or the rod in the handle isn't pushing the reservior asm when you squeeze the trigger.

My Hoover floormate H3000 won't put out any solution.

Check the valve at the bottom of the tank, push it in to see if it releases the water ok. The tank sits on the reservior asm. the rod inside the handle hits this asm to release the water. Watch the rod as you squeeze the trigger to make sure it is hitting the asm. If it is then the reservior asm is bad, if not then a problem inside the handle.

Clean water tank

Will the water come out of the tank when you depress the valve at the bottom og the tank? The tank sits on a resevroir asm., is the seal on it, black and round. Inside the handle is a rod, so when you squeeze the trigger, it pushes onto the reservoir to release the water, check to be sure it is, if not then you have a problem inside the handle or a bad reservoir asm. is bad.

Cleaning

Either you have a pinched or clogged water line, or the rod in the handle is pushing down like it should. The drw back is Bissell has deemed this unit and its parts obsolete. So any parts are hard to find.

How to fix Bissell Proheat losing prime after using spray for a short amount of time? When I try to use the spray on my Bissell Proheat 7901, it quickly loses its prime and it will not spray afterwards. I just replaced the belt going to the pump and I tried priming it again, just for it to quickly lose prime again. Is air getting in somewhere? The gasket does not look bad on the bottom of the tank. possible leak in hose EDIT: I tried a "bucket" test to where the hose going to the SmartMix piston was put inside a bucket of water and it seemed like the pump was ok as it provided a constant stream of water. Would that leave it to the tank being warped and allowing air in?
