2004 nissan sentra power windows not working. Replaced door master switch. Replaced power window relay. Replaced 30 amp fuse under the hood.

Look for broken wires in the driver's door opening. If you don't find any, you will need a test light or voltmeter to check for power at the driver's door master switch. For any electrical testing problem, you really need a voltmeter. You can check for power to the master switch on one single wire, with key ON. You can also use the multi-meter to check the ground for the power windows right at the master switch.

Dishwasher won't start

Try resetting the unit by shutting off the circuit breaker first for 1 minute then try the reset button. If nothing happens, then i would recommend having someone take a look at it.

I get DE and it won't work, thought it might be switch in door but now wondering if it is the load sensor

this is the explaining right from sears for code DE

Door is open error Check/Repair Unplug the washer. Check the door for an obstruction. If the door is damaged, replace any defective parts. If the door is closing properly, check the door lock/switch assembly wiring. If the wiring connections are okay, then you will usually need to replace the door lock/switch assembly.

Whirlpool TXFE366LVQ. When I turn selfclean after few minutes it shuts itself off and displays code F5E2

An F5 error code indicates that you need to check the oven door or the latching switch. The switch is used when cleaning the oven, for safe closure. If you find that the door or the latch switch do not function, you may need to replace them
F5-E2 means latch during clean error; the door and latch switch need checking and possible replacement.

1. If door latched:
  1. Disconnect power from unit.
  2. Check wires and connectors from control to door switch, then from door switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
  3. Replace door switch.
  4. Re-apply power.
  5. Press and hold any key down for 1 minute to clear F5 failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
2. If door not latched:
  1. Disconnect power from unit.
  2. Check wires and connectors from control to latch switch, then from latch switch to control. If no damage to wires and all connectors okay, proceed to step C.
  3. Repeat steps A and B for door switch.
3. Measure door switch (door open = switch open small low voltage terminals). Replace switch if defective.
4. Measure latch switch (unlatch = switch open, CAUTION - oven light contacts are closed). Replace switch if defective.
5. If corrections are made in any step, reconnect power to control. Press and hold any key for 1 minute to clear R failure code from memory. F2 will appear. Press CANCEL and observe for 1 minute to ensure operation is correct.
6. If failure remains, disconnect power and replace control.

Hope helps.

My washer door will not open. When I press the Open Door/ Cancel button a buzzing sound will come from behine the handle but the door will not open.

First of all try the reset procedure and see if it helps before proceeding towards troubleshooting:-- Close door
Turn machine on------
Select "Drain/Spin"------
Select "No Spin"------
Press the "Options" button 4 times------
There is a short circuit in the door switch assembly. Its not getting opened due to short in the door switch assembly. You need to get the door switch assembly replaced. But before that open the door by screw driver manually then remove the door lock connections and check the voltage at the door lock switch if its check ok then the door switch is faulty and needs to be replaced. But if the connections checked short then its a short in wires not the switch. Most likely the problem is a bad door lock which has to be replaced. You can find the complete instructions in the Service manual.

- The part number for the lock assembly is AP3837611

Dishwasher does not run at all,i checked the door

Hello there:
Please try these things i have posted
It doesn't work at all If your dishwasher doesn't work at all, check these: Power from the house Door switch Wiring Timer or selector switch Power from the house Is there power getting to the dishwasher? This can be difficult to test, because dishwashers are usually wired directly to an electrical circuit, rather than plugged into the wall. But at least check for a blown fuse or a tripped circuit breaker. Door switch The door switch is important because, if it's defective, the dishwasher won't work at all. To reach it, you need to remove the control panel cover, or sometimes the interior liner of the door. If it's defective, you need to completely replace it. Wiring Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the dishwasher, burns and breaks the connection. If that's the problem, the wires must be repaired/replaced as necessary. If that's not the problem, check the wiring to the door switch, the wiring between the door and the lower part of the dishwasher, and the wiring to the timer. Repair any broken, burned, brittle, or defective wiring, using the proper appliance-grade wire and connectors. Timer or selector switch Although it's uncommon, the timer or the selector switch may be defective. If so, you need to replace the defective part, because neither of these can be

HI. this is a Door lock error. Check the following to address this issue. Normally you will need to replace the door lock assembly in this case but, it is not uncommon for it to be just a simple loose wire harness as well.

Potential Causes

• Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
• Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
• Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

Whirpool dryer stopped working

Check the following to combat this issue.

1. No power to the dryer
Make sure there's power getting to the dryer. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power with a voltmeter or by plugging something else in.

2. Door switch / Door switch actuator lever
The dryer would not start with a broken door switch. Replace the door switch if found defective.

Most dryers have a door switch actuator lever - when you close a dryer door, it presses against the lever, which actuates the door switch. If the lever is broken, the switch would not activate and the dryer would not start. Replace the lever, if broken.

Note: Door switch actuator lever usually comes with the door switch assembly and it is recommended to get the whole assembly since there is almost no price difference between the door switch assembly and just the lever. Check your model for more details.

3. Thermal fuse
Most dryers have a thermal fuse, which burns out when the dryer overheats, in which case the dryer will either not run at all or stop heating. The fuse is usually located on the vent duct, inside the dryer. A blown fuse will show no continuity when measured with a meter. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the blower wheel is not broken or clogged, and there is nothing blocking the venting.

Note: It is recommended by most dryer manufacturers to replace a hi-limit thermostat when replacing a thermal fuse.

4. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).
