Windows Live Messenger crash

Hi, guys!

I've just bought a Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 and installed it with the 2.04 driver (Windows Vista Ultimate x64 SP2). It works fine with the Microsoft LifeCam application. But when I start Windows Live Messenger (the latest) and when I invite someone or get invited for a video call, WLM simply crashes. When I go to my Task Manager, I can see the WLM process but I can't end it. I even have do reboot my PC manually.

Can anyone help me get my camera working?

    Nevermind, guys... It's fine now. All I needed to do was play with the settings in WLM, Tools > Audio and Video Setup and set my webcam for video to work properly.

Can,t hear anything whist using lifecam vx 1000 on msn
have you setup cam video and audio

After you start Windows Live Messenger,
expand the view by clicking on the square
on top left next to the red X.
Then on the Windows Live messenger window on the
right side, click on “ “Show Menus.” And then click
on “Show the Menu Bar”.
Next go to the Menu Bar on right side, click on Action.
Go to “TOOLS” and click “Audio and Video Setting
and follow the instructions.

Try updating the webcam drivers.

If you are using XP they're HERE.
