Disconnect the LVDS Cable that runs from the small signal board to the display panel and apply power,if the screen comes on,the Small signal board (aka Scaler Bd ) is the faulty board. other than that, all that's really left that has gone bad for me is the logic board.
The plasma panel in most cases exceeds the cost of replacing the TV. There is also the issue that they tend to use different versions and makes of panels in these sets. Some panels are made by Samsung and some are made by LG. I would start shopping for a replacement TV at this point.
Without checking much. my guess is trash it, or find one on ebay that has a bad backlight or something else good on your's that is bad on it, that you can swap. I've never seen anything with an LCD screen that cost less to replace than item cost to replace. Sorry for the bad news.
Yes there are several and the ones I am posting for you have been used by folks who I know. You will most likely need to get the telephone number and call around, and they will probably need the exact dimensions of the screen good Luck
