Jensen LCD JE1907DC keeps looping the Jensen intro logo.
I was watching a movie on the built in DVD player with the Jensen LCD 19'' TV in this 2008 RV I'm currently renting. We were running power just from the auxillary batteries. My dad flipped the switch to off which killed EVERYTHING in the RV. He turns it right back on. The TV comes on in standby mode. I hit the power button on the remote. The blue light comes on and the Jensen logo comes up like normal (including the very slightly gray background). The logo goes away and still the screen is illuminated with that gray glow. At this point the TV should go back to AV input like I had it before it went off (like its done a bunch of times before) but this time after all this the screen goes black (blue light still on) then up pops the Jensen logo again! This repeats as long as I've left it on, before getting frustrated and just cutting the power. Also, none of the buttons on the side work. Power only works if held down. If just pressed it doesn't turn the TV off. The entire remote is inoperable as well. I'm baffled. I read the troubleshooting in the owners manual. There isn't one solution to a problem close to this in there.
I don't have a solution but do have the same problem.
I took it in a reputable shop and they told me the main board was gone and they could not get parts for it.
I just found out that Jensen is a Audiovox trademark.

Hello; There are many laws and rules controlling what you can watch on all DVD players, built into a TV or separate player. If you go buy an MGM or other dvd of some movie at Walmart , Best Buy ETC it should play in your DVD player, But if You or somebody " Burned a DVD" , It Likely won't play. If The DVD is an original store copy and still won't play, the DVD chassis must be replaced. BIG BUCKS. Just buy a Cheap DVD player and plug into the jacks on the back of the TV and save a TON of money. John
It sounds like you may not be on the correct input selection on the tv to watch the dvd player. Ther are probably three or four inputs to choose from on your tv. whichever input you hooked the dvd player into on the tv is the same imput you have select using the tv's remote control in order to watch movies on the dvd player.
