WILL NOT TURN ON

The power button (more like a slide) on the bottom right side will turn it on once it's ejected from the computer. Hold the slide in, and let go after a second or two. Give it a few seconds (like 10) and it should power on. I got mine as a gift and am still working through the interface.

My audio in wont work when connected to my note note book pc,it worked fine about 2mons ago, ive even switched audio in cords and still nothing. Both my music on my pc and stereo wok seperatly but wont when connected HELP!!!

Well often batteries from 3rd party manufacturer do not work in some laptops, see even the batteries have a "Chip" in them identifying them. Also sometimes these batteries are just no-good. or arrive flat, too flat to be charged up via the supplied charger. Anyway hopefully none of that applies and this will work. Now Turn PC OFF, put battery in unit. Now plug in wall unit, then plug into the PC, now leave the PC totally alone for at least 3 hours. Now the unit should work. Now how we tell where the problem lies is like this, Turn OFF, take out battery, now plug in the wall adapter, now the PC should work Fine like this. Now remove wall adapter, and insert the battery, the unit should go on this.. ONLY of course if charged. Now if when plugged in there are problems, it is more than likely, that indeed the battery is faulty, in some way.

I had the same problem with these. I charged it overnight on the computer and got nothing. I hooked them up to a wall charger about 5 mins (until they turned on for a second), then I hooked them up to the computer and they worked fine. This worked on all 3 of the ones my kids got for Christmas.

You will need to plug it into the computer. After you plug it in make sure it recognizes it. If it doesnt then hate to tell you, but it crashed on you. If it does recognize it then your good. Leave it connected to the PC to charge. when it is fully charged, RESTORE IT. ITS A MUST. and then plug it back in and it will be fine

Held the play pause button while plugging in the player to computer so computer will recognize the player even though it isn't on. Downloaded and updated the player off RCA site, which whiped out the memory but now it works at least, took about 10 min completely.
Completely charged it and it is working fine.

the mp3 player might be going bad, might have to get a new one

if you turned it on before you charged it when you got it, that may be the problem, i would take it back to the store, get a new one, and charge it immidiately and make sure you use the disc to install it

basicly i cant turn it on rebuild dont work and my comp cant find mine but my brothers works perfectly
