I have tried to install this item on my computer but I can hear everything from the headset at once. I do not know how to seperate the music and talk. Obviously I've done something wrong. Can you please help me?
First, double click on the volume icon located in the system tray. If you do not see the volume control for Mic, then you will need to make it show up by going to Options --> Properties --> Check the box labeled Microphone --> Click Ok. You should now be able to see the volume control for the Mic. Make sure that this is not muted and the sound is turned up. Second, you must have a sound card installed in your computer that supports microphones. Please check with your cards manufacturer or PC manufacturer to make sure.

I for 1 don't know. But try to go to www.Turtle Beach.com they can help you out. I have Turtle Beach Ear Force XC1 and my mic I can talk but I can't hear anything but if your mic isn't working properly try using a different controller. If that doesn't help try getting a brand new mic.
suspect that your microphone on your headset may be defective. try testing this headset on some other device such as a pc. to see if it works there. also ensure your 360 game or online is not set to mute this will block your mic if you need to kuss in private.
check there is no mic on off switch on the headset. if so set to on.
okay, this is obvious but first of all make sure this switch on your headset is not on mute. If alls good there go to your dashboard settings and you should see communication and make sure none of these are blocked. If this also isn't the problem it looks like you are going to need a new headset. It should have a years warrenty if that helps?
I had the same problem, but fixed it. All you have to do is: (I have a Dell Laptop) 1. Go to the control panel 2. Go to the sounds, speech and audio devices 3. You are supposed to see the icon that belongs to your sound card (Mine is SigmaTel Audio), click on it 4. Activate the port where the microphone is connected, close 5. Configure your microphone as you normally would 6. It should work
If you can't hear other people it might have to do some router settings. I know you have to have the remote that comes with the original earphones. so plug headset into remote then plug remote into psp. I don't have the remote and I hear people but my mic doesn't work. Hope that helps.
