Question about HP DesignJet 1050c InkJet Printer
When the plotter goes through its initialization, it stops, the printheads move to the right side and the window displays "switch power off, check printhead path (2)" I've turned the power of an wiped things down, I've unplugged and then restarted but continue to get this message. What do I need to look for or do to get it back on track?

SOURCE: ask for error message
I have seen this problem being caused by Ink tubes. They will get warped. You can check them by reaching inside and feeling for them. When they are new, they should be flat and against the flat railing. Also you can visually inspect them by pulling them slightly down and look for a tear in the outer jacket. If there is a tear, you have to replace them.
Hope this helps
