Connect Portable DVD Player to TV issue

It should have the following connections:

Analog audio out;
Optical digital audio out
Composite-video out
Headphone jack

If you want to conntect the player to a tv use a RCA cable and connect it to the input on the TV

When you start the portable dvd empty, does it 'load' the firmware first. Then you put the dvd in. It also needs to load the title etc. into the portable. If it does not read use TDK lens cleaner. If it wroks, fine. Otherwise rinse off the dvd with hot water, then blot dry defore trying in your portable again.
