Question about 2wire HomePortal 1100 Router (1000400124001)
I recently moved and I have a Netgear WPN 824 I used with my cable modem. I have DSL now with my old 2wire HomePortal 1100 and can't figure out how to connect the two. I removed the HomePortal 1100 from bridge mode and tried connecting the WPN 824 to it with no success. I seem to have ran out of ideas.
DSL uses PPOE, which may be different than what you had previously. Cable, for example, uses TCP/IP.
Re-set the router to defaults, and follow the instructions for PPOE, which should be in your manual or setup disk. Your ISP may have this info on their site, or you can get it at the Netgear site:
