Age how long has this tv been out?

Never heard it called 'aging mode' before, it used to be degaussing. Help in the link.

Seems like tv internal self test sensing some aging parts (most likely capacitors). Probably cheaper to replace than diagnose and repair.

Hai, I bought new Skyworth led TV, it's totally waste, I lost My money because of purchasing this TV, its likely Dupakoor, My TV problem is Aging mode so many times..... Then any buttons not working...... Think before purchase..... Thanks.....

It's trying to speak to you... it wants you to repair it. It must be where the relay is that turns the tv on with the remote control. All aging electronics needs the electrolytic capacitors replaced. When they age they throw the voltage off and cause many other parts to blow up. Aging solder joints could be a factor too. look for parts that have been overheating. The circuit board may have parts desoldering themselves and or overheating the circuit traces.

These tv's have an expected life of 8 years at normal usage so your tv's are starting to show signs of old age.

your tv receiver has a power supply "CHOPPER" ,comuttor about 100khz frequency marked as "MAINS" . My oppinnion is the capacitors in this power module are aged by {or temperature ,or age}

I have Aiwa TV MODEL No. TV-A149
The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
6EDEH

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
100 000 0


The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.

The fix is to replace the screen.
Depending on the size and age of the TV, in some cases it is almost as expensive to repair as it is to replace the entire unit.
Especially with the drop in prices for these types of TV's
