I also have the DYMO labelwriter 400 and after installing and creating labels with the software, I cannot print any labels. The printer queue continually states an error in printing yet when I print from another printer it works fine. The labelwriter is selected when I click print but the queue says error. Anyone have a fix?

    ditto

print jobs go to que then "error out"

    uninstalled and re-installed the printer

    uninstalled and re-installed label software

rebooted in between uninstall and re-install

stopped and started print spooler service

    still a "no-go"

Disconnecting power and re-connecting will work, but only temporarily.
In order to fix, you need to upgrade the printers firmware...

Yeah so i called support and then they give you some bs other support number. anyway, i was having the same problem as you all. what you need to do is go to printers and faxers, right click on the dymo printer and go to properties. click on the ports tab. if the bidirectional support checkbox is checked at the bottom, that's your problem. just uncheck that little box and it click apply. it should fix everything. print a test page to confirm. it will print like half of the windows logo. this means "problem solved."

I had the same problem which can be fixed by unplugging the printer from the power for 10 seconds and plug back in. However it will potentnialyl do it again, you need to contact Dymo for the new driver.

Dymo label writer 400 turbo will not print

Uninstall the software and disconnect the printer from your PC. Then reinstall version 8 of the Dymo Software (without the printer connected) and connect the printer when prompted by the software.

Make sure you are using version 8 of the dymo label software - it is compatible with Windows 7.

Dymo 400 failing to print

Have you checked to see how many jobs you have in the print queue that have not printed? Delete all of those jobs. The current label won't print if you have others that have not printed. Hope this helps.

Dymo 400 labelwriter does not print unless shut down and rebooted

It could be how you have loaded the labels. If you have loaded the labels and there is a small gap between the spindle and the roll, it will print one label and give a error-printer message and stop working until you unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in. I would reload the labels from scratch and ensure there is no gap.

I had problem with dymo, so we printed receipt thru other printer and now got dymo fixed, so i tried to print, but it's not printing, i looked in printer que, there's some printing items that i cann't get...

Hi,

right click the items in print queue and delete them. You have to wait a few secs before the print queue is clear. You can also try to reprint the same thing by right clicking the item in print queue.

Have you tried installing the driver? Check out: http://global.dymo.com/enUS/TechSupport/default.html You may need to unplug the USB while you install, then plug it in when prompted to. Good luck!
