My son gave me this laptop and told me some thing is wrong whit it. while i was in his house i turned the power on and every thing was working fine. i also plugged it in my house and every thing was working fine. the next day i was not able to turne it on. can you tell me if the problem is battery, ac adapter, ac adapter connector, power supply or any other components inside the laptop. as soon as i try to power on with or bwithout ac adapter, the first led ( greene) blinks only one time and the middle led and the last led blinks ten times and after that nothing happens. if the battery is very low or can not hold the charge at all, would you be able to turn the laptop on. thank you much mory
If you remove the battery and disconnect power cord, then hold power button for 20 seconds, then reconnect power cord but do not re-insert battery, and the unit powers on okay, the problem may be your battery. If there is still an intermittent problem, the power connector inside the unit may be loose and need re-soldering, or you could have a bad power supply.
