I just installed my MX 600 mouse and the latest drivers as of 4 days ago, and randomly, while playing Morrowind my buttons go haywire. As if I am quickly cycling the mouse wheel, while pressing back/forward while hitting the zoom keys all at once. I've tried just closing Morrowind, however the mouse still has the same issues on a webpage. It will scroll down the page, and zoom in at a fast rate of speed, luckily I rebound back and forward to page up/page down so I don't freeze my browser by cycling the pages as well.

Hello my friend, what program are you using and what type of music? First uninstall all drivers and install the latest one.Second check your CPU activity when you are playing music(from task manager ctrl+alt+del),if its too high its a problem. If you are using different music from .mp3 like .ogg or something "not common" you must install the latest codecs.I'm waiting for your reply.

browse for some controller to mouse/keyboard software, you should be able to find tons on google, i use joy to key, just set up the buttons to keys you want to use, or set up the buttons randomly and redefine the keys in the game, also if you use a mouse in game you can set up buttons or joysticks to use the mouse on joy to keys
:) hope this helps
Check if you have installed the latest drivers... For the touchpad, you should be able to find them on the hp support site For external mouse, there should be drivers on the manufacturers site or the driver disk that came along with it.
Is it the touchpad that doesn't work, or is it an external mouse?
