  1. Go into the Wii Menu (Wii icon on the main menu screen.
  2. Select "Wii Settings," then "Internet," and "Connection Settings."
  3. Erase your existing Internet Connection Settings and set up a new connection. (Click here for help)
  4. Once you have established and tested a successful connection test, try the connection to the Wii Shop again.
If you have verified that your Wii console's internet connection is working, then there could be a temporary issue with the Wii Shop Channel. Please wait awhile and your connection again.

SOURCE: error code 109144 when try to connect to internet via wii console

Error Code: 109144 There was a problem registering the console to the WiiConnect24 service. What to do:

  • If you have multiple routers and/or modems, try to connect to no more than one router and one modem try connecting from another location.
  • If you are using only one modem or router, something on your network or from your Internet Service Provider is blocking the connection. You may need to contact your service provider for more information.
  • If you do not have the ability to connect from another location (such as a friend's house), please call 1-800-255-3700 so that we may discuss available options.

SOURCE: Okay, in the Nintendo Wii I go to the Wii Shop

Try changing your channel on the router to 11 or 1. For Linksys WRT54G routers enter the ip address of the router (default is 192.168.1.1) enter password and user name (default is admin/admin) then click wireless tab, now select a different wireless channel from the drop down box. Fix is not guaranteed to work for all consoles. source
I was having a big problem with those two errors, when I realized that the WEP encryption has to be set on Key 1 in order for the Wii to recognize it. It\'s the same with the DS.
I would like to add to the information you have posted that on top of what you have posted, I had to change the MTU value from 0 (Default) to 1500 witch it was in the router for the Wii to finally connect and download the updates. (via email, thanks Jose

Solution 2:
The console of my girlfriend had this error code and none of your solutions could help, but I found another one: I had to put in the IP manually because the Router's DHCP-Server didn't work.

Solution 3:
I originally received the 52030 error code, followed the directions from this site but could only get MTU to 1492 (Linksys 802.11B router, too lazy to look up the number).
Connected for about 5 minutes, was downloading the update, got to 100% then gave me the same error code. Went back in, recreated the connection, worked, went to download update, this time it got to 60% and just stopped. My ISP was fine but the download simply wouldn\'t progress. Hardbooted the Wii, reset the internet connection and nothing. Tried multiple times with same result, Error Code 52230.
Had been having other problems with my router so I figured that was the source, headed over to Wal-Mart (yippy!), picked up a Linksys 802.11G router, plugged in and everything worked without a hitch.
Moral of this story...buy a new router and plead to your significant other, But honey, look how cool the Wii-Weather Channel is! later. TOTALLY worth it.

Solution 4:
I love my Wii. The only thing I hated initially was the network setup. I kept getting the error code 52030. I have a DLink 624 router (hardware reversion C). I fixed my Wii connection problem by upgrading my firmware to 2.76 and setting the wireless router setting to SuperG without Turbo on Channel 11.

SOURCE: Accessing the Wii Shop channel to install Netflix.

051030 is a 'too busy' error, so it's probably an issue with Nintendo's servers rather than your wii.

Wii u error code 204965

This code, among others, is a general error code in response to the Wii or Wii U being unable to connect to a Nintendo Shopping Channel server. If no other devices have internet connectivity issues through your wireless network, then the Nintendo server is not working at the moment. If you are attempting to connect on Monday or pre-dawn on Tuesday, the server is likely undergoing weekly maintenance which can last up to 4 hours.
---
I know, right? 4 hours every week? I guess Nintendo doesn't have the type of management that concerns itself with why Shop Channel sales drop drastically on Mondays or why return rates skyrocket on Tuesdays. Frustrating!
---
Anyway, if you are among the unlucky to have received Wii points or a digital game for Christmas in 2013, put it away and figure out a way to play with the scarf your granny got you. The server has been down for over 24 hours and is showing no sign of recovery anytime soon.

Is there a fix to wii error code 50300 ?

The Wii console's internet connection settings are not correct. This could include your network name (SSID), WEP or WPA keys, or any manual settings you may have entered.
It's possible something has changed since you last connected online with your Wii console. Try setting up a new connection file, using your router's settings.
While "Search for an Access Point" is the easiest and recommended connection type, your network may require you to use the "Manual Setup" option.
If the problem persists, try our general troubleshooting for tips.
If you are still getting this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance.

I am trying to download the netflix app on the nintendo wii from the wii shop channel online and I keep getting the error code:204965

There may be a problem with your connection on the Wii. I would try erasing the connection on the Wii and starting over. If that still doesn't work, when is the last time you updated?
The Wii may not be able to use the wireless it has because of the broadcast channel from the router. You would need to go into the routers settings and change the channel to either 1 or 11. The default is usually 6 but that tends to be weak. Retry the connection.

I have perfect internet access but my wii wont let me play my netflix movies. it says unable to find an access point my signal strengh is perfect.error code 51030 i would really like to speak to someone...

Hi There,
Playing a movie over a wifi network not only stresses your router, it's choppy and useless if you've got anything less than a wireless N 300mb/s connection.
However, I looked up your error code and Nintendo seems to think that your router needs to be power cycled, and if that doesn't work, delete your connection settings from your wii and create a new one.
If that doesn't help, I'd recommend upgrading to a linksys N router or using a good old fashioned 10/100mbit cable :)

Everytime I try to connect to the internet it wont let me I wanna watch net flix

Sorry to hear your having problems with your wii. You can connect the wii via wifi or wired with an adapter. Check out Nintendo's tutorial for instructions on how to do this:
http://us.wii.com/connect/

You basically goto:
Wii Options at the bottom left corner of your home screen, then Wii Settings, Click the right arrow to goto the next page, Click Internet, Click Connection Settings, Click Connection 1, Click Wireless Connection. Click Search for an Access Point. Click OK to view the found access points. Select the Access point for your wireless internet, enter your encryption key, click Ok and then OK again to save settings, and then OK again to test the connection.

If you have done all these setups make sure your selected network and encryption key are correct. If you have an error code search on that error code online.

If you haven't downloaded the netflix channel yet you have to goto the wii store channel and download that first. Then you can link your netflix channel to your netflix account using the on screen instructions when you first start up the netflix channel.

How do i fix error code 20100

Code 20100 means the Wii is having connection problems with your WiFi. Nintendo says:

Error Code: 20100

  • There could be a temporary issue with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection servers. Please wait a few hours and try again.

  • If after waiting a few hours and the problem has not resolved, there could be a problem with your home connection. Try the following:

    1. Ensure your home internet connection is working properly. Use a PC that is attached to your home router and visit a website that you have not been to before, in order to check that the connection is currently working.

    2. Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase stability. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available).

    3. Within the Wii's system settings, erase the current connection file you use to connect your Wii online, and set up a new one. To do this, access the "Internet" option from the Wii settings. For step-by-step instructions, click here.
If you are still receiving this error code after waiting a few hours and trying the steps above, please call 1-800-255-3700 for assistance.

Nintendo wii

If you havea WiFi router that you use for internet then you can do this very easily by adding your WiFi settings to Wii in settings. This will also allow you to get Wii software updates and use the Store where you can download games etc.

Your friend will also have to have a WiFi router in his home with internet access and he'll also have to add those settings to the Wii.
