Manitowac makes ice to the top but then shuts down and does not turn back on

Usually this is the fill solenoid.
If not, make sure the water supply is not blocked.

sounds like the motor has seized or the discharge is bocked and the motor is running but nothing is moving

Ice thickness probe on Manitowoc and float switch may be dirty or stuck if hoshi. Manitowoc sometime the thickness probe can get dirty and a film of algae and not sense ice properly but rare

Use a fan to try helping it stay cooler but make sure coils are clean and refrigerant is not low if it has a temp setting turn it down

You gonna have a drain for the reservoir to clean the unit and a drain for the ice bin and then a connection for inlet water. The water valve is the key. Look for it.

its the ice maker .water or condensation has built up in the ice maker modual and refroze upon turning unit back on.either get a new ice maker or uninstall the ice maker and let it dry for a few days and reinstall.but it could happen again that way.or maybe not.

This is usually caused by a plugged freezer drain. The back wall (or floor) of the freezer may come out to access the drain. Clear out anything visible and run a stiff wire thru it. Test with a cup of water. Hope this helps!
